A New Subscription- BroBox Review and Promo Code

I want to introduce you to a new box curated just for men, or rather "Bros". The BroBox. This box was bought for my fiance’ and so far we are impressed, and it gave us the opportunity to try some products we have never heard on before.

What is BroBox?

BroBox is the box that helps the average “Bro” find unique, new, and awesome products without having to put any effort into it. Awesome products delivered right to your door. With a world full of subscriptions curated more towards women, BroBox decided that men need more subscriptions boxes as well.  Each month BroBox will feature five unique brands and their products, as well as a special BroBox Prize in their monthly box.

Cost: $14.95 each month

June’s BroBox

Dude Wipes (3 samples)-$1.25

These are great flushable wipes. I will definitely be leaving these next to the toilet for a little added incentive to be extra clean or maybe in the car for emergency use. These dude wipes are also packed full with Aloe Vera and Vitamin E.

Lenny & Larry All Natural Muscle Brownie- $2

I was happy to see this in the box, as we are on a high protein diet, and this will be a perfect snack for my other half. He has been getting pretty hungry in between meals lately, so I am sure he will appreciate this, and it is packed full of 20g of protein, and Peanut Butter flavored, even better.

Bold for Men Dry Shave Gel (2 samples) $2

This is a waterless gel for shaving, which can be used pre-shave, during shave and after. At first glance my other half was not too into the waterless gel, but I am sure with a little coaxing I can get him to try it, or the other option it will actually go to my Bro.

Aero Shot Energy (Raspberry and Green Apple) $6

I had no idea what these were when I got them out of the box. However, after reading a little bit about them, they are energy inhalers full of energy powder. I tried the Raspberry already, and it is interesting to say the least. It is like sucking up Pixie Sticks. While it did give me energy,  I thought I was going to choke on the inhalation of powder. Warning, be careful, inhale slowly if you ever take an Aero Shot.

Turbo Truffle Pack -$4

I split one of these with my fiance’, and they are good. Yes, I know this is the BroBox, but I need energy too, haha. These will come in handy on those low energy days, when my better half has a non-stop running around with the little one day!

BroBox Multiporpose Pocket Survival Tool- $5

Yes, I know Multiporpose is spelled wrong, but that is what it is labeled as per the BroBox. I think this is awesome, and my fiance’ was excited about it as well. I know this will come in handy. This handy dandy prize from BroBox has the following uses:

TICKLED PINK OPINION: Me and my fiance’ were throughough impressed with our first BroBox. I really love the concept, and love finding new, unique and fun products.  Additionally, it didn’t just focus on food or health or lifestyle, it was very well rounded and jammed packed with an array of items. I love finding a good box for my guy as well.  This would be a great gift to buy a brother, a friend, a boyfriend, a husband, any "Bro" you know! And all these great products totaled about $20, so it worth the $14.95 monthly cost.

PROMO: Right now BroBox is offering 20% off your first box using Promo Code “BIGBRO” at Checkout.

What did you think of the BroBox? You going to sign a special “Bro” in your life for a box just for him? If you want to learn more or sign up, you can HERE.

Until next time

Citrus Lane June Review is Kid Approved

I have been wanting try out some kids boxes lately for our little one. And due to some great promos that were going on, we went a little over board this month. That’s okay though, she loves her boxes just as much as I love mine, and Daddy likes his. Haha.  One of our picks this month of Citrus Lane. I have heard great things about Citrus Lane and was excited to give it a try.

What is Citrus Lane?
Citrus Lane is a monthly subscription that sends out age appropriate engaging toys, healthy and nutritious treats, snuggly items, books and so much more for kids ages 6 months to 6 years old. Each monthly box costs $25 per month.

This month’s theme, like many of my June boxes was Summertime.  Citrus Lane picked out some great items to prepare for the sunny season. Our Citrus Lane box was for a 2 year old girl (32 months).

June  Citrus Lane Box

Okay I really just do not have any words, other than ADORABLE! This will be perfect for our little one as long as she actually will keep it on.  I love that it is reversible as well. Perfect for summer. She was having a hay day with the hat when she first got it.

This is just what we needed for the summer.  Sunscreen is a must for the little one, and this Episencial is a great safe and water resistant sunscreen. Now all we need is the sunshine!

This is great for the beach or sandbox, or to actually put some ice cream in. Haba makes great toys to allow kids imaginations to reach to the moon. What I also like is this set is sturdy, so no plastic pieces breaking off.

We love sidewalk chalk, and I am sure our little one will love this set. And, it comes with a holder for those days when she does not want to get dirty, or is feeling extra strong. This holder is made to protect the chalk from breaking. Cannot wait to let her give this creative chalk a try.

TICKLED PINK OPINION:  For our first month of Citrus Lane, I am very pleased. I was hopeful for a little more not just 4 items; however, the items total value was $43, so it was well over what I spent on the box.  I appreciate that Citrus Lane adds items from the box that are clearly focused on the child’s age, and they take the time to make sure they are quality items. Quality over quantity.  I think I will give Citrus Lane another month or so, as our little one really liked the box and looked super cute in the little sun hat!

What did you think of your June’s Citrus Lane Box? Or if you have not yet subscribed you can get your first box half off using Promo Code “TAKEHALF”. Just head over to Citrus Lane’s website HERE to sign up or learn more.

Until next time

Summer Bash- June Love with Food Review

I wanted to quickly post my June Love for Food Box in hopes I would not get to hungry while I wrote this, as it is lunch time, but to no avail... I am now officially craving some Turbana Plantain Chips, haha . This great subscription box was screaming “Beach Please!”. However, over here in Seattle we do not get the beach weather I am talking about too often. Toes in the Sand, cold drink in my hands, is the beach I am looking for. Okay back to the box, enough daydreaming.

What is Love with Food?

Love with food is a monthly subscription box that allows you to sample gourmet food, and best of all it is delivered each month to your front door. The cost is $12 per month, but stay tuned at the end of this blog for a special promo code!

This month’s theme was Summer Beach Bash. And this month Love with Food donated not just one but two meals per subscription to foodbanks in Oklahoma!

June  Love with Food Box
Summer Beach Bash

Seaweed Love Roasted Seaweed

I know many people probably think that seaweed is an extremely weird food to eat as a snack or at all.  However, I was loving this treat. I grew up on eating stuff like this. I am Japanese, and grew up eating authentic Asian cuisine. However, Seaweed is very healthy treat, and it satisfies that salty tooth.

Smooze Coconut and Mango Fruit Ice

This will be perfect for our little one. She is at a popsicle stage right now. I swear all she would eat is popsicles if she could. Hopefully this Ice will render the same effect as the popsicle, so it doesn’t go to waste.

Do More Bars Gluten-Free Pineapple Coconut Cereal Bar

This is just like a rice crispy treat, and while I know we probably would love this, this yummy goodness has no tummy to call home at this time. I sure I will find a volunteer soon though.

Surf Sweets Organic Fruity Bears

We have gotten these before, and know they are delicious. This will be a nice treat for the little one.

Turbana Sweet Plantain Chips

A great healthy dried fruit snack. Now we are talking. These are just like banana chips, and very good!

SoyJoy All-Natural  Fruit and Soy Bar

Another great treat, that I can actually enjoy right now. These are great gluten-free, low calorie, natural treats. And this SoyJoy bar was perfect dash-out the door for work kind of snack!

PUR Gum Pomegranate Mint

This was a perfect mix of sweet and mint. Only 1 piece left out of our pack. I guess you can say we liked it. Time for a refill. Love being introduced to new products.

GoOrganic Hard Candy

These were perfect little candies to satisfy a sweet tooth, without going overboard. Great tropical fruit flavor as well.

Flavrz Organic Drink Mix

This will be great to bring to work with me, and I really like Crystal Lite and other drink mixes, so I am sure I will like Flavrz as well.

$50 Naked Wine Gift Card

This is my third naked wine gift card. I would love to use this, just cannot bring myself to order 6 bottles of wine online when I can go to the grocery store around the block and just get one.

TICKLED PINK OPINION:  I really enjoy Love with Food boxes each month, and this month is no exception to the rule. For $10 per month you get great treats for the taste buds, and so much more. Love with Food takes your taste buds to new places, and allows you to try new foods that you would not ordinarily find or buy.  Additionally, each box is full of fun treats for the whole family, and for only $10 per month, which also goes to provide meals to foodbanks!   I am already looking forward to July.

What do you think of June’s Love with Food? Did this month’s box inspire a trip to a beach? If you are interested in seeing past Love with Food boxes you can HERE. And if you would like to learn more or subscribe, you can get your first Love with Food Box for free using Promo code “FBGIFT”! Just head over to the Love with Food website HERE.

June’s Poppy Parcel Box

Suntegrity Two Natural Moisturizing Face Sunscreen and Primer

This will be great for summer. While it is not hot enough yet here in Seattle, I am sure this will come in handy as it gets a little sunnier. And I am always look for a great face primer.

Haute Bands

These are like Twistbands, which I love. Even though I tend to use these and they get stretched out quickly,  we definitely can use them for our little one. These are perfect for the daddy who does  not like teeny tiny hair bands when he does little ones hair. And, the colors are just an extra lovely bonus. Love the colors.

Pen and Paint Coffee Mug Print

I cannot wait to get a frame for this print. So very cute.  Not sure where I will put this yet, but maybe it will give me some inspiration to redecorate somewhere in the house.

Bubble Necklace

I have been wanting to get a bubble necklace like this for so long. Do not know why I haven’t. Thanks to Poppy Parcel the waiting and wanting is over! Whoo hoo.

BonLook Coupon

$20 coupon to Bonlook, a eye glasses company.

TICKLED PINK OPINION:  I am loving the concept of this subscription box. it is that just because you are special type of box. There are no particular swings this way or that, just a great box, full of great items, for great ordinary gals. I think this box would be perfect for gifts for birthdays or special occasions for the gals in your life.  I will most definitely be looking forward to July’s Poppy Parcel Box.
