"Sock-Up for Spring" Men's Sockwork Review and Promo Code

I really am excited to share Sockwork subscription again on my blog. This new subscription is quickly becoming one of my favorite subscriptions. The great people behind Sockwork graciously offered to send me the men’s subscription box to review here on my blog. You can see the women’s subscription box HERE. What is Sockwork?

Sockwork is a subscription that sends 2 pairs of wonderful and stylish socks right to your door each month.  “Socks with a Purpose” is such a great motto for this company because Sockwork was not only started by Veterans, but it was specifically  started with veterans in mind. The people behind  Sockwork wanted to do something that gave back to fellow soldiers,  so each month Sockwork will pick a Veteran non-profit and will donate 10% of their proceeds to that non-profit.

You might ask yourself, well how does Sockwork work? Well, it is really simple. Sockwork has sock subscriptions available for Guys and Gals. After choosing what type of subscription you would like, or maybe both, you then pick your style. Sockwork has socks that fit any style, from Pro, Fun or Mix. 

You then decide for how long you would like your subscription, take note you save some money if if you purchase a longer term subscription up front.

Cost Per Month: $20 (that’s $10 per pair of socks). And remember 10% of the proceed go to help Veterans.

Mens Sockwork Subscription Box

Just like my previous box of wonderful women's socks, the men’s box from Sockwork came very quickly. I could not wait to dig right into it. Our little one got to it first though, and loved the little mint candy that was included it the box. 

Richer Poorer Inc. Hanky -Yellow Socks -$12

I must say Sockwork sent out some pretty awesome socks for this first box, and I loved it. I just thought these Hanky yellow socks were fantastic. I have always loved Richer Poorer Inc. brand and the style, so I was over the top thrilled to see them in the men’s Sockwork box. These Hanky yellow socks may not be A’s style, but I could wear them around myself instead. They might be a little big, but I can make them work. 

Richer Poorer Inc. Prep- Blue & Green Socks-$12

Another great pair of Richer Poorer Inc. socks, and I liked these just as much as the first, if not more. I am a fanatic of anything blue and green, since those are the Seahawk’s colors. So, these will be perfect to add to A’s Seahawk gear when the season starts. 

TICKLED PINK OPINION

My overall impression of Sockwork is still as strong as it was with my first box. Sockwork has shown to be a fantastic company that cares about their customers, and also sends out some awesome top-notch products to their subscribers each month. The men’s subscription box was just as impressive as the women’s box I received. My men’s Sockwork box contained $24 worth of stylish Richer Poorer Inc. socks, which was well worth the subscription cost of $20 per month. Additionally, Sockwork donates 10% of their proceeds to a non-profit associated with helping veterans, which is impressive in itself. I appreciate knowing that by subscribing to Sockwork that not only are you fitting your feet with some stylish dubs, but also helping out a great cause!

My first blush Mystery Box Review- July

I am a little backed up on my July boxes that came in. However, I think this box was one of my favorites in July, Blush Mystery Beauty Box. This was my first Blush Mystery Boxes that I have received, and it did not disappoint. I cannot wait to share it with you.

This was my first ever Deborah Lippmann nail polish, and I loved it. I could have went with a different color, but I love the electric prismatic effect. Value is $19.

Lumene Vitamine C Pure Radiance 24h Lotion (Full Size)

What I appreciate about this facial lotion is that it not only does it moisturize, but it also detoxifies and mattifies the skin. I cannot wait to give this a try. Value is $20.

Philip B. Self Adjusting Hair Spray (Full Size)

I received some Philip B products in my June Glossybox, and I am excited to try another product. This hair spray is said to adjust according to your firming needs. Value $22

Hydroxatone AM/PM Anti-Wrinkle Complex (Full Size)

Anything to keep me looking young is a good thing in my book. This is said to help protect and fight visible signs of aging. Value is $50.

Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare Alpha Beta Glow Pad Anti-Aging Exfoliating Self-Tanner

Wow these just sound amazing. Not only will they help put a glow on my face, but it also helps exfoliate, minimize pores, and help existing sunspots on face! I have heard they are as good as they sound, so I cannot wait to try them out. Value is $18.

BioElements Quick Refiner

This helps skin to look younger. As you have read above I love trying products that do just that. Value is $4

Airbrush Eye Refining Treatment

This is said to get rid of puffiness almost immediately, as well as smooth and reduce fine lines! This was a bonus gift from blush, and I am excited to try it out. A full size Airbrush Eye Refining Treatment cost $68.

Raw Color Eye Brush- Extra Bonus Gift

I Can never have too many eye brushes, and love when they are included in any subscription I get. Great bonus gift item from blush!

TICKLED PINK OPINION:  This blush Mystery Beauty Box was just spectacular. Out of the 9 items in my blush Mystery Box, 6 of them were full sized.  This beauty box cost around $25, and the total value of the items received was over$150. I most certainly am very happy that I subscribed to blush Mystery beauty box, and cannot wait to see future blush Mystery Beauty Boxes!

July Sample Society Box Review

July Sample Society was one of those boxes that was not as exciting to review this month as usual. Usually I am really loving my Sample Society Box, but this month I just thought it was so so. Maybe because all my other boxes were over the top great that they put Sample Society in the shade for July. That being said, however, I still want to share my box with everyone.

What is Sample Society?

For those who do not know what Sample Society is, this a beauty subscription that sends out beauty samples each month. Sample Society is through Beauty Bar and teamed up with Allure. The monthly cost is $15.

This month’s box Sample Society picked products aimed towards summer and being stylish as well.

Vincent Longo Eyeshadow Trio in Sweet Melody

 These sounds wonderful, and a great brand. I might use the light pink a little. Not too into green eye shadow however. These are said to compliment any eye color, so maybe I need to give different colors a try. Hmmm, I will think about it.

Dr. T. Supergoop! Eye Cream

 I hear that Supergoop is a great product. I have not yet received any in a subscription box yet, so I am excited to try. I have a few promotional events outside in the next couple weeks, so I am sure this will come in handy to protect my eyes.

Tres Pure Face Tonic

Love face cleaning products that I get in boxes.  This  Face Tonic is said to help with wrinkles, has firming agents, and make the skin look more radiant. Sounds good to me.

Lavanilla The Healthy Fragrance Pure Vanilla

This smells wonderful. I love vanilla base perfumes, so I was happy to see this in my box.  If you read other posts I am not a big fan of perfume samples, but, when they are ones I like then… it is okay.

Jane Iredales Just Kissed Lip Plumper in Tokyo

A cute little lipstick. I like the color and can always use to full lip look .

TICKLED PINK OPINION:   This month’s Sample Society box was okay. The size of each sample was a little disappointing. However, Sample Society has been pretty consistent in sending out great boxes that I really enjoy, so one bad seed will not detour me.  I will keep going with my subscription since it is only $15 a month. Not too bad at all.

Stitch Fix Clothing Subscription- My 3rd Fix Reviewed

I thought I better hurry up and share with you my latest Stitch Fix, since I will be having another one come pretty soon. I love Stitch Fix, because it is a perfect way to pick out some new items for my wardrobe without having to make time to go to the mall or spend time, that I may or may not have, online shopping. Stitch Fix is a  perfect time saver. Additionally, having a personal stylist is pretty awesome!

C. Luce Lala Belted Chiffon Dress- $68

This was perfect for work. However, while it looked okay on, I just was not sure it looked good enough to purchase. It was pretty though, and the fabric was fantastic. Maybe just not for me.

Tulle Bettina Dot Print Sleeveless Dress- $48

Loved this one.  For some reason I love anything with dots on it. As you can tell, since the last item I kept from Stitch Fix was dotted as well (See HERE). This dress just called out “wear me”. It  was perfect for summertime, and could be dressed up with a cardigan for work. I love versatile pieces..

Under Skies Evanston Beaded Detail Dress- $58

 This dress was so comfortable, elegant, and beautiful. This dress was one of my top picks this month. The pink color was so bold and lovely, and the beaded detail on the sleeve just gave it that extra pizazz!

DownEast Tobi Cropped Lurex Cardigan- $38

This cardigan just was not me at all. I tried it on, and I just did not care for it. And the fabric was very itchy. It definitely went back to Stitch Fix.

Chris & Carol Lissey Back Bow Detail Striped Top- $38

Loved the color of this shirt. As I have said, I like versatile items, and this top would be perfect with a pencil skirt or a pair of jeans. Perfect for any occasion, is my kind of clothing piece.

TICKLED PINK OPINION: This 3^rd Stitch Fix was pretty good. It looks like I was assigned to a new stylist, Miranda,  and I could tell. It seemed the items were a tad different than my other 2 boxes from a different stylist.  I think I would give this box a B; there were some great pieces, some okay pieces, and just one item that I really did not care for. Overall though I really really like Stitch Fix, and think I will keep getting my monthly fixes. If you are wondering what I kept, I ended up using my $20 credit on the Tulle Bettina Dot Print Sleeveless Dress. Of course I picked the dotted piece again, haha.

FABULOUS FAB FIT FUN VIP BOX REVIEW AND COUPON

I totally forgot that I was signed up to receive the next installment of Fab Fit Fun VIP Box, but I was ecstatic to see it in my mailbox. This is the second VIP Box, and I was thrilled to see it was even better than the first.

The Fab Fit Fun VIP Box is a beauty and lifestyle box  by the E-girl Guiliana Ranic. This is one of those boxes you do not want to miss out on. The only thing that is a bummer with this box is that it is only quarterly.

This quarterly box is themed around SUMMERTIME, of course!

Ivory & Mason Sunglasses-$135?

With as many subscriptions that I have ever gotten I have yet to receive a pair of sunglasses, so you can imagine that I was super excited to see a pair in this box. After reviewing the website I could not find a pair of the Ivory & Mason sunglasses for under $135, and I could not find these particular ones on the site. Maybe I was not looking hard enough, but nevertheless a very impressive add to this box.  Additionally, Ivory & Mason will let you exchange the pair you received in your Fab Fit Fun box if you are not completely happy with them. Awesome for those who get a pair that is just not their style.

Catalina Su Lip Gloss- $14

This lip gloss is awesome. And the color is perfect for me, and will look great on top of most my lipsticks as well. Like I always say you can never have too many lip glosses. Full sized!

Purlisse- Pur- Delivate Gentle Soy Milk Cleanser- $36

This was recently named Vogue’s favorite product, so I cannot wait to try it.  And, I was in the need of a makeup remover so this came at the perfect time. This makeup remover is a very gentle formula, which is made out of  soy milk, soy proteins, whole oats, and white tea.  Sounds very natural and good for the skin.  And, after looking at the Purlisse website, the bottle received in the Fab Fit Fun box was full size! Awesome huh!

Evian Brumisateur Facial Spray- $8

This is perfect for summer. Thus the reason that Fab Fit Fun put it in their summer box, haha. I have never really been into facial sprays like this, but I think it could come in handy on a hot day.

Infinity Sun Glow on the Go- $35

This is a great travel sized all natural, anti-aging, sunless tanning spray. This will be perfect in the months when I am feeling less than tan.  Another great addition to this box, and something I would not normally buy on my own, so happy to see it in this box.

It Hair Care Surf Spray- $7

Sea Salt Hair Sprays must be popular now, as I just received another brand in a different box recently.  Receiving this Surf Spray  is make me wish I did not cut off more than 5 inches of my hair for the summer.  Long hair, in my opinion, looks great with beach like waves. I will still give  this spray a try though. Any suggestions for short hair welcome?

KIND Dark Chocolate Chili Almond and Maple Glazed Pecan/ Sea Salt- $1.50

This sounds amazing, and I really enjoy KIND bars. This KIND Dark Chocolate Chili Almond is a sweet and spicy blend of mixed nuts drizzled in chocolate with a trio of cascabel, ancho and habanero chilis, AND is a brand New flavor from KIND.  Yummy.

Yes to Cucumbers Facial Towelettes- $3

This must have been a special add on in each box because it was not added on the information sheet.  However, getting extra is fantastic! These facial towelettes are 98.7% natural, hypoallergenic, and made from organic cucumber and aloe vera. 

ORLY Nail Lacquer in Mayhem Mentality- $7

This was another great item not listed on the information sheet, so maybe this was a bonus or each person will get something different. I love this great bright orange/coral color will look great for the summer!

TICKLED PINK OPINION: This quarters Fab Fit Fun VIP BOX was truly amazing. I am overwhelmed at how many great products were included in this box. I seriously could not happier with this box, it exceeded my expectations. I paid $49.99 for this box, and the Fab Fit Fun VIP Box included $239 worth of amazing products. This total also took into account $135 for the sunglass, which I could not find exact price for. I would say this box is well worth it, and a perfect pick of items for summer.
