November Beauty Box 5 Review

Once I received my first Beauty Box 5, I knew that I wanted to continue with the subscription, as I was very happy with my first box. And, again, another great month of beauty, skin, and bath goodies from Beauty Box 5.

What is Beauty Box 5?
Every month subscribers will get a box filled with cosmetic products selected by Beauty Box 5’s beauty editor. You'll receive a mixture of luxury, commonly known brands, niche brands, eco-conscious and even vegan brands. Your beauty box will include a selection of makeup, hair care, skin care, nail care, fragrances and beauty accessories. And the Cost is only $12 per month!

November Beauty Box 5

For November, Beauty Box 5 curated a great box what was full of ideas that would prep you for any occasion, event or adventure that is on the horizon.

Aveeno Positively Nourishing Calming Body Wash- $2

This is just the best body wash. I have always been a big fan of Aveeno, but this takes the cake. The lavender scent is perfect to lather up with after a long day at work, the smell is just so relaxing.

Montagne Jeunesse Glacial Cooling Face Mask $2.49

This is perfect to add to the bath time kit, for a bath time of relaxation. This mask is said to cleanse pores, and strengthen the skin’s natural barriers. I will have to test this out soon, I really do love face masks, and it is more cost efficient than going to the spa for a facial.

Secret Clinical Strength Antiperspirant and Deodorant-$7.99
A full size Anti Antiperspirant and Deodorant, a great addition to the box. And, this box even came with a coupon for another free one as well. So, I could double the value on this. I have been wanting to try this kind out, so as soon as I am done with my current stick I will give this a shot.

Body Drench Lip Drench-$4.99
Always can use more chapsticks. I am notorious for losing my chapstick, I mean all the time. I do not think I have ever used a full one up. I actually keep a stash of them in my room for quick retrieval.

Bellapierre Cosmetics Shimmer Powder- $14.99
This is a pretty blue eye powder, with a very great shimmer effect when put on. I am not the biggest on blue. It seems quite popular, as I get blue all the time. But I am sure I can find some use for it during Seahawks, football, weekends!

TICKLED PINK OPINION
Like I said I was super impressed the first time around with this box, and now I am even more impressed. For only $12 per month, this box included approximately $33 worth of products. That is not even including the free Secret Clinical that can be redeemed with the coupon included. I do not know why it took me so long to subscribe to this beauty box, but I really am liking it. One thing I like best about this box, is not only the value of the box, but also that there is a variety of products from makeup to skin care items.  I will most definitely be sticking around to see what is in store for December.

September "Classic Beauty" Ipsy Glam Bag Review

Ipsy Glam Bag is a beauty bag that I really get excited to see each month. That bright pink shipping bag just brightens up my day. This month it came a little later than expected, but that’s okay because I really loved September’s Ipsy Glam Bag Picks.

What is Ipsy?
Ipsy is a monthly beauty subscription that sends out the latest and greatest beauty items to your door every month. And not only do you get to try some great beauty products, but it all comes in a handy makeup bag each month.

Cost: $10 per month

September Classic Beauty Glam Bag

This month Ipsy focused on “Classic Beauty”. From red lips to big bold lashes, the products in this month’s glam bag will get you some great looks just like Marilyn Monroe to Mona Lisa, who are both classic beauties.

butter London Nail Lacquer in LA Moss

This is a deep crimson red wine color, and was seen during this year NY Fashion week. This is a gorgeous color and a perfect warm color for fall.

Elizabeth Mott It’s So Big Volumizing Mascara

I never complain when I get mascara in a beauty bag or box. I use mascara every day, and cannot go without it, so I was excited to see this in September’s Ipsy Glam Bag.

NYX Single Eye Shadow in Morocco

NYX shadows always pack a punch. They are very highly pigmented, but are very easy to blend. Morocco, is a deep violet color, but looks to have hints of blue. This is very pretty, and while I do not use blue shadow too often, I will have to play around with the color to see if I can make it work for me.

Starlooks Obsidian Kohl Eye Pencil

Like mascara, I also cannot have enough eye liners around. This is an ultra-soft  liner, that is said to glide right on. I cannot wait to try it.

Cailyn Cosmetics Tinted Lip Balm in Big Apple

I have used Cailyn products before, and was super excited to get another one of their great products. This long lasting lip balm is gorgeous. I love the bold red color! It will look perfect to top of a bold look for work or out on the town.

Classic Beauty Glam Bag

This has to be my favorite bag I have received from Ipsy!

TICKLED PINK OPINION:   This month’s Ipsy bag has to be one of my favorites. Each product included in this Glam Bag will work together perfectly for a great bold fall look. I just love the colors as well. I cannot believe that this bag was only $10, wow. Just the butter Nail lacquer alone covers the cost of the Ipsy Glam Bag(butter Nail polish is $15 online). If I were to recommend a beauty bag that is well worth the cost and includes quality products consistently, it would have to be Ipsy Glam Bag. Another great month!

August Ipsy Glam Bag- Glamour Academy Review

It is Ipsy time again. Ipsy still is up there as one of the best beauty subscriptions out there right now. This month Ipsy’s theme for their Glam Bag was Glamour Academy. And , like always, I was happy with each and every item that I received.

What is Ipsy Glam Bag?

If you have not heard of Ipsy, here is a little information.  Ipsy is a monthly beauty subscription that sends out the latest and greatest beauty items to your door every month, at the low cost of only $10 per month. And not only do you get to try some great beauty products, but it all comes in a handy makeup bag each month.

August Glamour Academy
Ipsy Glam Bag

The Glamour Academy Makeup Bag

Not 100% in love with this bag, as I tend to go for more solid color bags with no writing or logos. This won’t go to waste though, I am sure there is something I can do with it.

Urban Decay Revolution Lipstick in 69

This is just my style of lipstick, and I really enjoy Urban Decay products. This lipstick is Very highly pigmented and super and smooth when put on.

Pixi Beauty Lash Booster Mascara in Blackest Black

I really do love getting mascara in any subscription bag/box. You cannot have too many spare mascaras around, since it is important to change out mascaras often. And this little one fits perfect in my eye makeup bag.

Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer

This is amazing. I have tried Smashbox primers a couple of times, and have been wanting to purchase this one in particular for a while, just never have gotten around to it. I am so happy that this was in August Ipsy Glam Bag. Seriously, this primer is the best. It leaves your skin perfectly ready for foundation, without the oily feeling that other primers leave.

Mica Beauty Eye Shadow in Bronze

I have tried the Mica Beauty brand before, and it is good. I am not 100% into loose eye shadows, but I love the color, so I am sure I will give it a try.

Michael Todd Pumpkin Nutrient-Rich Mask

Love getting skin/face regimented products.  This will go directly into my cabinet where I keep all my products for morning and night face regiment, and I cannot wait to give it a try.

TICKLED PINK OPINION:  I really do love that Ipsy sends ian array of beauty products in their monthly glam bags.  All the products included in the glam bag would be enough to pull off a fab look (I would have to add in a foundation however). I cannot say enough that Ipsy is truly one of the better beauty subscriptions out there for the money. I mean all of these beauty products and the makeup bag for $10. What a great deal. And like always the products are top-notch.  Again, Ipsy is leaving me excited for September already.

August "The Diva in You" Lip Factory Box Review

I always get so excited to get that shipping notice for Lip Factory Box because I know I am in for a treat. Lip Factory has given me the opportunity to share their wonderful boxes with you, and I get so excited to see what each month’s box is going to include. For August Lip Factory again did a great job on curating a wonderful beauty box.  Lip Factory is definitely on my top 5 beauty/makeup boxes right now.

What is Lip Factory?
Lip Factory is a beauty subscription that curates fantastic beauty boxes, with great beauty/makeup for you to explore and try out. Lip Factory prides itself of sending out new brands and new colors to their subscribers. The monthly cost is $22 per month

August The Diva in You Lip Factory Box

For August, Lip Factory’s theme was The Diva in You, which was themed around providing products that would release your inner diva.  And the Lip Factory has a new look. The outside of the box matched perfectly to the inside box, which is the same.  The outside box is now black with a great pair of lips, perfectly symbolizing Lip Factory.

Sweetpea & Fay Lip Joule in Paper Cute ($8)

This a rich and creamy lip gloss, and is an amazing pink/plum crème color.  Love it.

NYX Wonder Pencil ($5)

This Wonder Pencil is the essential pencil that conceals, can be used as a liner for lips prevent lipstick bleeding and fading; and it also is used as a brightener. I am already in love. Where has this pencil been all my life. I am so excited to give this a try.

White Towel Makeup Remover ($1)

This a pre-moistened towel to help get rid of makeup, and leave your face feeling fresh not oily. These are a one use towel. I think I may have to save this for a rainy day, when I really need it..

ColourU Cosmetics Matte Lipstick in Skinny Dip ($15)

This is a pretty natural looking lipstick, and I most definetly will be getting my use out of this.  A natural pink color lipstick goes a great under a darker or redder lipstick, so I always use something like this as a base color. Additionally, this great lipstick is said to be enriched with anti-oxidants and vitamins to help the moisture in your lips.

Red Cherry Natural Lashes ($2)

I have never tried any type of fake lashes, nor have I ever put any on anyone. I am a little bit clueless on how these work. However, I would love to have longer looking lashes. I will have to read up on these and let you know how they work.

Me Me Me Cosmetic Shimmer Stack in Gold ($13)

This was my favorite item out of August’s Lip Factory. This is a fusion of 5 shimmer powders that help illuminate your face and define cheek bones and brows. I was just running out of my powder like this, so I was super excited to see this in my Lip Factory Box.

Tickled Pink Opinion:  Lip Factory has truly blown me out of the water on pretty much every box that I have received.  The total value of the August Box was approximately $44. What a great box. Not only did you get all these products for half the price it cost to subscribe to Lip Factory, but the products in themselves are great. There are some brands in the August box that I have heard of before, but some that are completely new to me. I love experiencing and trying out new products, which is just one other reason why I appreciate Lip Factory box so much. After receiving Lip Factory box, it always gets me excited to see what is to come for the next month. Excited for September box already!

What did you this of the August Lip Factory, The Diva in You, Box? If you are interested in signing up for Lip Factory you can find out more information HERE.

Awesome August Bonjour Jolie Review

I had some other posts that I wanted to get up before this one, but I was too excited about this month’s Bonjour Jolie box to save it. Bonjour Jolie is quickly becoming one of my favorite subscriptions each month, and I get excited to see what is packed inside this wonderful subscription box with each passing month. A couple months ago when it came out, I thought it would be just another Women’s time of the month box, which are great, but I am quickly finding out that it is packed full with so much more.

If you have never heard about Bonjour Jolie here is a little bit about this awesome subscription:

August Bonjour Jolie Box

This month the Bonjour Jolie Box’s theme was “Honoring The Feminine”. Each and every time packed in August’s box are items from business’s owned by women, and what great products they are.

The time of the month products.  As you can see you get plenty to cover you for the monthly visit of Aunt Flo. Bonjour Jolie also lets you pick what type and brand of products best fit your needs. Very personalized.

The Bonjour Jolie Gift

Peru Silver and Stone Bracelet- $14

This beautiful bracelet was imported from Peru, and handcrafted by local Peru women. Each bracelet is made from alpaca silver and precious stones. These truly are a work of art.

The Edibles

Leccare Lollipops (Peach Cobbler and Apple & Pear) - $3

Each Bonjour Jolie box came with different flavors, and each lollipop are handmade. Very simple ingredients are used in each, but are packed with flavor.  Before I even got to them the little one ate the Apple & Pear. She said it was yummy.

Just Add Honey Tea Company (5 bags of tea)- $3.50

Each of these tea bags are handpacked, and like the lollipops pack a lot of flavor. I always like getting tea in my subscription boxes, and I really like these teas even more because you can make these into some really good iced tea, which I like better than hot tea. Flavors: mint to be, wild blueberry, chocolate delight, berries!, and Georgia peaches.

The Pampering

Beazers Garden Organic Herbal Hand Scrub-$2

This handscrub is made in New York, and is just amazing. Now I just need to order some more.

Happy Hands Lotion in Desert Honey and French Lilac- $1

These are perfect little packs to keep my purse, travel bag or gym bag for a little on the go moisturizer.

Scardey Car Mineral Eye Shadow in Rose Gold- $1.50

This is a beautiful color shadow. I usually do not wear mineral shadow, but I will surely give it a try. Additionally, it came with a great little brush

Bare Apothecary Herbal Bath Salts- $1

I love bath time, and these bath salts, which are all organic and cruelty free, will be great.

Sensible Sanitary Bags- $1

This is great to prevent unnecessary clogging accidents. I have never seen or heard of these, but it makes sense, and I am very surprised that these are not more common.

TICKLED PINK OPINION: I am never disappointed in the Bonjour Jolie subscription. What I really appreciate about this subscription is that it gives you a little bit of everything in one box. And, each month you never know what you are going to get next. I love surprises. This month’s bracelet was just amazingly beautiful, and I really love it. It is not something I would buy on my own, but really can appreciate and see the beauty is something that is handcrafted like that. Like I always say I cannot wait to see more boxes from Bonjour Jolie. The total value of August box was $28.
