September All you Need for Fall Glossybox Review and Promo Code

I was so excited to see my Glossybox in the mail yesterday after work. I usually get Glossybox at the very very end of the month.  After a day at work it is great opening a box that I am excited for. After seeing what was packed into this month’s Glossybox I was even more excited. This month Glossybox curated a fantastic box, and I am super pumped to share it with you.

What is Glossybox?
Glossybox is a beauty subscription that sends out premium beauty samples to members each month. The cost is $21 per month.

September All You Need for Fall Glossybox

This month Glossybox curated a box that contained everything you need to update your look, and inspired to give you products to look your best for the start of Fall.  Septembers Glossybox was just over-the-top fantastic.

BCBGMAXAAZRIA Bon Genre -$20

This was the only item in the Glossybox that was not full size, which is amazing.  However, I am so picky when it comes to perfume. This is a new perfume from BCBGMaxAzria, and I am not 100% about it yet. This is pretty spicy and more bold than I am used to.

Oceane Makeup Remover Pen- Full Size $5.30

I was super excited to see this in the September Glossybox, and wonder why I didn’t have something like this sooner. This will be perfect for touch ups on eye liner without having to remove all my eye makeup, and perfect for those mid-day touch ups to get rid of cat eye.

Be a Bombshell Eyeliner Pen in Onyx -Full Size $14

Glossybox had an eye theme in mind when putting together this box, everything to create a perfect eye look. I always love getting eyeliner in my beauty boxes, and especially a good brand. I have been really happy with other Be a Bombshell products I have gotten, so I am excited to try this out. I especially like that it is in Onyx, a black color, just my style.

Emite Makeup Eyelash Curler- Full Size $30.50

Okay, this has to be the best part of the Glossybox this month. I was just thinking I needed to go get a new Eyelash Curler, and, “Tadaa!”,  Glossybox to the rescue. I love this style of eyelash curler, and cannot wait to give it a test drive.  I would definitely not pay $30 plus for an eyelash curler, so I am even more excited it was in this month’s Glossybox.

Nioxin Diamas Treatment –Full Size $50

I am really excited to give this Nioxin a try, since it is said to make your hair look thicker and strengthen it. It sounds like it is a primer for hair, since it is supposed to increase the diameter of hair strands. I can use all the help I can get, since I use hot irons and curlers, which I am sure, do their damage to the hair.  I am even more ecstatic that Glossybox included a full size Nioxin in the Glossybox.

Promo:
Right now you can use coupon code TARTE to get a free Tarte lipstick with any subscription 3 months or more, and Use coupon code LIP to get a free Malin + Goetz Lip Balm in Mojito on a month to month subscription.

TICKLED PINK OPINION:  I am just thrilled with this month’s Glossybox. The entire September Glossybox had a value of approximately $119. WOW.  And for the cost of $21 per month, I think that the quality and value included in September’s All you Need for Fall Glossybox was well worth the monthly price. I already am looking forward to October’s Box.

Until next time

Jewelmint Mystery Box- Wonder Mystery Box Review

I love getting jewelry, and when I saw that Jewelmint was having a Mystery Box, I thought what the heck I should get one and see if it is worth it. Jewelmint does guarantee at least 2 pieces in these Mystery Boxes and a promo code, with the opportunity to actually get 20 pieces. How cool would that be? Well I did not get the 20 pieces of jewelry, just as a heads up. But, I really wish I had. I am actually a little up and down about the Mystery Box that I got.

Here are the four Mystery Boxes that you could choose from:

I decided to go with the Wonder Mystery Box, which was said to include at least 2 must-have jewelry pieces. I thought this may be the safest of the Mystery Boxes. I must say I love most Jewelmint jewelry, however some are just a little over the top for me.

Wonder Mystery Box

Gold Earrings

I could not find these on the Jewelmint site, but I like them. I really am into gold right now, so I know I will wear them. I think these are a great versatile pair as well.

Rose Gold Chain Bracelet

I love this bracelet. So very chic and stylish and, again, very versatile. I really do not have very many jewelry pieces that are rose gold, but I like the color.

Promo Code

I do not know where this went. I have an e-mail into Jewelmint, as I have not received any promo code.

TICKLED PINK OPINION: Overall, I am not sure if the two pieces are pieces that I would have originally pick if I were picking something on the Jewelmint site. However, I really like the pieces that they choose. Right now Jewelmint is offering 2 pieces for $29.99, and you get to pick the pieces out yourself, and I actually wish I would have done that instead of purchasing the Mystery Box. I would have picked out a nice necklace instead. However, on the other side the Mystery Box pieces were not bad at all, and I know I will wear them, and it was exciting to get the Mystery Box. I always like surprises. I am not sure if I will be getting another Mystery Box from Jewelmint thought, since I am not overly impressed, and I did not get the promo code.

What did you think of Jewelmint’s Mystery Boxes? You can still purchase a Jewelmint Mystery Box if you would like, HERE.

Until next time

Pretty in Pink, Crafter's Crate May Review and Promo Code

I have to tell you that I am just loving Crafter's Crate subscription box. I have to say I think it is one of the best kids craft boxes out there right now. Crafter’s Crate has provided a fantastic box, that has given parents and their little ones the best opportunity to spend time together, craft, and have so much fun.

If you have not heard about Crafter’s Crate, please take the time to review my post HERE. Rachael, the curator of Crafter's Crate, and mother of a little one as well, has designed Crafter’s Crate for little girls to not only have fun spending time crafting with the grown-ups in their life, but also to learn and gain from having fun doing these activities as well.

Each month Crafter’s Crate has a theme, and for May the theme was Pretty in Pink. I, as well as our little one, are loving this month’s theme and especially the pink elephant, as pink is one of our favorite colors. Our little one was so excited about digging into this months box, you will rarely see but a hand in my pictures, as she was a ball of energy and I could not get an un-blurred picture of her.

Crafter’s Crate May Pretty in Pink Box

Parachute Power

I love activities that not only are not only fun for the whole family,  but also teach our little one something.  This Parachute, which is pink (we love pink), allowed us to teach our little one as much as we could about the science behind how the parachute floats and falls with the wind/air. Even though our little one is still little, and maybe too young to completely understand, it is never too early to teach something through doing something fun!

Pretty Purse

I loved in the Grown Up instructions how Crafter’s Crate explains how making a purse is a very valuable learning tool for our young ones.  I agree that it is never too early to teach young ones on emergency contract information, and the tool of being responsible, and this can be done by using this activity of making a purse.  We also gave our little one a piece of paper with our contact information on it, and she immediately put it in her purse, such a big girl. I was happy to share my love to purses with our little one, all while teaching her a valuable lesson as well.

Button Ring (or in our case bracelet)

Our little one is always intrigued by my jewelry. I was so happy to see that this craft was included in this month’s Crafter’s Crate, as we were able to work together to make our little one her own beautiful flower jewelry. This was great way to for her to be creative . We ended up using this kit and making a flower bracelet instead,  and it turned out fantastic.

Candy Suckers

We love cooking at our house, and our little one loves suckers. It was neat, after trying our hardest to not eat the candy before making the actual sucker, to share the activity of making our own suckers. This was a perfect activity for our little one and daddy, as they both have a sweet tooth!

Elephant Pillow

This was our favorite project out of the box.. I knew right away that our little one would be ecstatic to have a fluffy pink elephant of her own. She loves animals, loves making their sounds, loves reading about them, and loves talking about animals, and now she could make her own little pink elephant. Absolutely perfect.  We started putting this elephant together however, it has not been completed yet. This project took a little more time than our  little one had the energy and patience for at first, but it is a work in progress. I think as much as it is teaching us about animals, it is also teaching out little one about patience and not giving up on something.

Pocketbook: This box costs $19.99 per month.  This box is so worth the price, not only do you get all the items to complete the activities and crafts, and instructions, but Crafter's Crate saves the grown up's time. Rather than taking the time to plan and design each of the activities and go buy the items, Crafter’s Crate has done this job for you.  Crafter’s Crate has created a box that allows you to spend more time with your little one.

Tickled Pink Opinion: I am in love with Crafter’s Crate Boxes. I love the concept of not only spending the time doing these fun activities with your little one, but also focusing on teaching the little ones while doing these fun activities and crafts.  Additionally, not only is this fun for the little ones, but Crafter’s Crate is excellent for the whole family! I think I had more fun at times that our little one.

Promo Code: Right now Crafter’s Crate is offering $10 off your first box using Promo Code TICKLE at checkout.

Naturebox is one of the food subscription that provide healthy snack options for people and their families.  Last month was my first month with Naturebox, and  I have been looking forward to getting my second box ever since, as my first box was so great.

This month Naturebox has changed their site up a bit, and made an option where each member can pick out some or all of the items that you receive in your monthly  Naturebox.  For some who like to get surprised by not picking, no worries, you can pick as many as you like or none at all, and then Naturebox will pick the rest for you.

This month I got the Naturebox Deluxe Package:

Banana Chips

Sour Cream and Onion Almonds

These were the best. I am a big fan of almonds and they are the perfect On-the-go snack. I give these 5 stars! Very good!

Sunshine Chips

Chedder Pub Pretzels

Another favorite.  I have been munching on these here or there at the house. The taste is much more savory that other items I have received from Naturebox, a little goes a long way.

Umani Roasted Nuts

Pocketbook: $19.95 a month and free shipping.  That is less than $4 for each great bag of healthy snacks!

Tickled Pin k Opinion: I really have enjoyed the two boxes that I have received from Naturebox. so far. I also enjoy having healthy snacks available to take from home on the fly.  I think I may be sticking around with Naturebox a little while longer, as Naturebox has so many other great healthy snacks  that I have not tried yet.

Crafter's Crate Review And PROMO CODE

The first thing I would like to say is thank you Rachael at Crafters Crate for curating such a wonderful box for young girls. I would have thoroughly enjoyed, and would have spent hours myself with boxes like these when I was younger. Oh, what am I talking about; I thoroughly enjoyed this box now as an adult.  Our little one and I have only had this April Crafters Crate Box for a day, and we have already have had such a great time on two of the five project that we have tried so far.

What is Crafters Crate?

I think it best to tell you who is behind the Crafters Crate. Rachael is first a foremost a mother of a little girl, she is a blogger as well, and is the creator/founder/CEO of Crafters Crate.   After reading about her on the Crafters Crate website (HERE), you can see she is a passionate business woman, but also knows the importance of inspiring, teaching, motivating and influencing young girls.  With this inspiration, and her little girl at her side, she created Crafters Crate.  This box is perfect for young girls to discover and grow into more confident and creative people, and so much more. All while having a ton of fun as well.

Each box that is shipped out each month costs $19.99, and comes with approximately 5 activity/crafts, which are focused on key learning ideals : science; craft, cook or activity.

APRIL CRAFTERS CRATE

As you can see our little one was immediately intrigued and interested by the pink elephant on the box. She loves animals so that does not surprise us at all. We immediately had to open it up and take a look. After taking some little bits of time here and there to get some pictures, we dug right in. This months theme was April Showers bring May Flowers, and the projects fit perfectly.

I love that each activity/craft was well labeled, and had instructions. Yes, even though this is for kids, sometimes the adults may need a little 1, 2, 3 instruction as well. Each of the five kits also included tips and a list of supplies included, and other things supplies you need to complete the project with your young one.

Out of the five activities:

Magic Bubbles;
Hair Flower;
May Day Basket;
Pin Wheel; and
Cup-O-Grass

The first pick was Cup-O-Grass. The Crafters Crate even included the soil. I think a project like this is perfect for a young girl to learn responsibility of taking care of something. Yet, it also is an activity that allows a young one to learn the science behind how grass grows. As you can see we had quite a fun time decorating, planting, and watering our Cups-O-Grass.

The next activity our little one was immediately drawn to was the Pin Wheel.  Like most the activities included in Crafters Crate, adult interaction and help was needed with this activity (cutting the paper). However, during the rest of the activity our little one was able to help with 100%.  Once we were finished putting the pinwheel together, she had by her side all afternoon long.  We were sad it was a yucky day out, but we were still able to get the wheel turning with some big breathes of our own air. Great indoor rainy day activity.

We have not had a chance to try out the other activities yet, but the Magic Bubbles will be a great activity for our little one, as she loves bubbles. We are excited to take this outside and play with the bubbles.  Side note, we have tons of bubbles left over from her birthday, and we are well equipped for this activity even though the kit came with soap to make our own bubbles.

Also looks like we have some cookie baking coming up soon, as there was a great Sugar Cookie recipe in the May Day Basket Kit. This will be a great little basket to hold on to throughout the years to remind us of the younger years, And;

The Hair Flower, I am so impressed  with all the kits in the Crafters Crate. However, this one I was so excited for. The Hair Flower kit came with all the tools to make a little headband for our little girl.  In each  Crafters Crate it includes a grown up sheet, which  give the grown ups ideas on how to tie in this activity in teaching your young girl about something. The Hair Flower kit will be a great way to teach our young one on being confident and boost her self image. We cannot wait to start this project.

Overall, I cannot give this box kudos enough. I would highly recommend Craters Crate, and I look forward to seeing more boxes in the months ahead. I know our little one cannot wait as well.  If you would like to check out Crafters Crate website and sign up you can do so HERE.

BONUS- Crafter's Crate is giving readers $10 off your first box using the Promo Code TICKLE at check out. Give it a try and let me know what you think.

Until next time
Stay Tickled Pink,
Stephanie
