April Lip Factory "Welcome Spring" Box Review

Wow, April just flown by! It seems as I get older time just goes by faster and faster. There is no keeping up. Speaking of time, there is no time to waste when sharing the awesome Lip Factory subscription. As you may have read before, Lip Factory is by far one of my favorite beauty subscriptions, and I love sharing it with my readers each month.

What is Lip Factory ?
Lip Factory is a beauty subscription that curates fantastic beauty boxes, with great beauty/makeup for you to explore and try out. Lip Factory prides itself of sending out new brands and new colors to their subscribers. And most of the products included in the Lip Factory boxes are FULL SIZE!

Cost: $22.00  per month

April “Welcome Spring”
Lip Factory Box
Okay so you have no idea how excited I am about Spring. I am REALLY excited!! Already it is starting to warm up over here in the Pacific Northwest. Thank goodness!  I really appreciate that Lip Factory has focused April’s box on some great beauty items to kick the spring off right.

OFRA Lipstick in Red My Lips  $13
I have tried OFRA Lip Gloss before, but I do not think I have ever tried their lipstick. However, I am very excited to give this bright red bold lipstick a try.  And with some natural sunscreen this lipstick will be perfect to add some pop to my lips for the summer while protecting as well.

Color Club Nail Polish in Soft as Cashmere $8
I was really excited to see this lovely color nail polish in the April Lip Factory box. I have been looking for a perfect creamy grey color, and I think I have found it.

NYX Butter Gloss in Strawberry Parfait $5
I really appreciate that Lip Factory adds in various price range of products in their box. I have always like NYX products, and they are very affordable as well. What I love about this Butter Gloss other than the great color, is that  this great butter gloss smells like sugar cookies. Makes you hungry for sweets when you wear it, haha.

Be a Bombshell Eye Crayon in Fetish $14
I am a huge fan of Be a Bombshell and eye crayons.  Eye crayons are the perfect makeup accessory to add that something extra to an on-the-go makeup look. However, the color of this Eye Crayon was bright purple. No offense to purple, but I just do not think it is my color. I am sure I can find it a great home.

Be a Bombshell Eyeshadow in Tempted $14
Wow, two full size Be a Bombshell products this month! I love it. I really like this pretty khaki green eyeshadow, and think it is perfect for a natural springtime eye look. I have tried Be a Bombshell eye shadow before, so I know that this is a fantastic product.

Jesse’s Girl Kohl Eyeliner in Dark Brown $2
I usually wear a black eyeliner, but one occasion I will venture into a new color. Dark Brown would be next on my list to use for eye liner, so other than black this was a perfect eye liner for me. What is fantastic about Jesse’s Girl Kohl Eyeliner is that it comes with a built in eye pencil sharpener. I cannot tell you how many eye pencil sharpeners I go through. It is nice to have one stuck to the actual eye pencil! Genious idea!

TICKLED PINK OPINION

Always impressed with my Lip Factory boxes each month. For April, Lip Factory included $56 worth of fabulous beauty products that are perfect for spring, and all for the price of $22 per month. I would say that Lip Factory goes above and beyond each month in making sure their subscribers are getting their monies worth, as well as getting quality products. The best part of Lip Factory is that they always bring something new and exciting to the table. Lip Factory is still one of my number one for beauty subscriptions, and I continue to look forward to and get excited for each monthly box! I already cannot wait for May!

New Subscription- Sudsy Box Review

Hi there again. Well after my long break from blogging, I am back! Yay! I have some exciting news that I will share later, but it has been keeping me away from blogging. However, I have some fun new subscriptions to share with you in the upcoming days ys, and if my schedule works with me like I am hoping, I should be back to my regular blog schedule in no time.

I would like to introduce you to a new subscription called Sudsy Box. Sudsy Box motto is that, “Everyone deserves a little box of luxury”. That’s right, I agree completely. After speaking with the wonderful lady behind Sudsy Box, they kindly and graciously offered to send me a box to share with my readers.  I have to say I have never smelled and experienced a better smelling soap than what I received in my Sudsy Box! And I cannot wait to share.

What is Sudsy Box?
Sudsy Box is a luxury soap subscription that delivers Heidi’s Artisan Soaps right to your door every other month.
In each Sudsy Box you will receive 3 full sized 4 oz. soaps that are all natural, luxurious, handcrafted and are scented specifically for that time of the year. Each Sudsy Box also contains a special surprise gift in each box. Like I said, Sudsy Box sends only all natural soaps that are free from artificial colors, fragrances, and contain no chemical preservatives. Each and every product received from Sudsy Box are Gluten Free and Vegetarian, and all packing materials are recyclable. The labels on the soap are even reusable (I will talk about this a little later).

Cost: $20 Bi-Monthly Subscription Cost

Okay, so I have to admit I do not use bar soap very often, but that is because I have never found any that I really like. However, after receiving these Sudsy Box soaps, which are amazing, I may be a transfer from body wash, to these Heidi’s Artisan luxury soaps. Amazing soaps!

Lavender Dream Soap  $6
I love the smell of lavender, and especially after a long day. Lavender is a perfect essential/scent to help relax and unwind. And, this Lavender Dream Soap is just perfect, and smells amazing too.  This soap was made to feel pampered, and very “spa-like”;  I could not agree more.

Orange Mocha Espresso Soap $6
This soap combined with an actual mocha espresso in the morning is what I am talking about. I would have never thought of mixing sweet orange with mocha, but is smells divine.  The Orange Mocha Espresso Bar has wonderful cocoa butter and shea butter, which great to help with dry skin. Over here, yes please! Any moisture I can get is great for my skin. This bar of soap is a win for me.

Morning Mist Soap $6
This soap has the wonderful scent of spearmint infused in it. Spearmint is great to add some extra pop to any morning shower, and get the morning started just right. Especially because Spearmint is said to help elevate moods.  I have started using this in the morning and I love it.

Glossy Lip Balm in Peppermint$3
I am always in the search of a great lip balm, and these days my lips are getting extra dry for some reason. And with the summer, and at times dry weather, lip balm is an essential part of my day.  This Lip Balm from Heidi’s is just fantastic, and moisturizes wonderfully.

TICKLED PINK OPINION

My first impression of Sudsy Box is an A+. The first impression of a box when I open it starts with presentation . When I opened Sudsy Box it was nicely packaged, everything was nicely arranged with tissue, everything was intact, not to mention it smelled awesome, and the packaging of the soaps was very nice. What was very impressive to me was that each and every piece of the packaging around the soap and the information card was made out of  Lotka paper, which is paper that is embedded with tiny seeds which will grow wild flowers. Awesome huh.  What a great idea! I love it!

I truly think that when a company takes pride in the presentation of their products, cares about their customers, and cares about the environment, you are looking at a winning company.

Additionally, the Spring Edition Sudsy Box from Heidi’s Artisan Soaps contained approximately $21 worth of handmade products, that is not including taxes or shipping costs. I think the Spring Sudsy Box is well worth the $20 subscription cost, especially for the all-natural handmade items. I look forward to seeing the next box in June from Sudsy Box.

March "It's All About the Lips" Lip Factory Review

It is that time of the month again; Lip Factory time! I get so excited each month when I see the shipping notification, and cannot wait to dig into the box.  Like every month, Lip Factory is one of my favorites, and I am always surprised at the amazing products included in each and every Lip Factory box. Lip Factory never ceases to amaze me on how fantastic each box is.

What is Lip Factory?
Lip Factory is a beauty subscription that curates fantastic beauty boxes, with great beauty/makeup for you to explore and try out. Lip Factory prides itself of sending out new brands and new colors to their subscribers. And most of the products included in the Lip Factory boxes are FULL SIZE!

Cost: $22.00  per month

March Lip Factory
“It’s All About the Lips” Box
I know this might not make sense to everyone reading, but as soon as I read “It’s All About the Lips”, I thought of one of my favorite players from the Seattle Seahawks, Marshawn Lynch. One of his sayings is “It’s All About that Action Boss”! So when I read “It’s All About the Lips”, I had to add Boss at the end. A little chuckle from me! Haha. Well, anyways, I am sure you want to see all the great lip products in March Lip Factory Box. Lip Factory has an All About Lips box here and there, but Lip Factory’s other boxes are full of all kinds of great makeup products, not just lip products.

Mirenesse Lip Bomb #3  $35
I have tried other Mirenesse products, and I have been very pleased with them, so I was I was excited to try out something new. This is a unlike a gloss, lipstick or stain, but leaves the lips with great color and gloss without that gunky feel.  This is great on it’s own or on top of a different shade to add an extra kick.

Ellovi $5
This lip butter is completely natural and is made of only six ingredients that are so pure you can eat them. A great lip butter is hard to come by, but this Ellovi is amazing. I cannot believe I had not found this before now.

Jesse’s Girl Vitamin E Treatment $3
There are plenty of days when I do not wear any lipstick at all, so this will be perfect for those days. I can still keep my lips protected, soft and supple.

Jesse’s Girl Lip Liner in Melon $2
I really do not use liner too often, but really like the look it gives my lips when I do. This Melon color is a great summer lip liner to mix with some coral lipstick.

Cargo Cosmetics Lip Quad $24
I was super excited to hear that Lip Factory was collaborating with Cargo, as I really like Cargo Cosmetics. I was never expecting something so fantastic as this lip gloss guad though. Awesome addition to the March Lip Factory box. I love this Lip Quad, which is full of great summer lip colors, and know I will be using it all the time!

TICKLED PINK OPINION
Can we say fantastic Lip Factory box this month? Yes, we can! I really love trying out new products and brands of makeup, and Lip Factory makes it possible and even easier to do so each month by delivering these great products right to my door. For $22 a month for the Lip Factory subscription, the March Lip Factory “All About the Lips” box included approximately $69 worth of products. I would say that Lip Factory certainly knows how to treat their subscribers. I continue to look forward to each and every Lip Factory box that I receive, and cannot wait to see next month’s box already.

February Ipsy Glam Bag Review

I know it is March already, but I really want to share some of the boxes that I missed throughout February since they were awesome. One of the boxes that I really love and have been getting for over a year now is the Ipsy Glam Bag. I really have been MIA these past months with reviewing some of my regulars, but I did not want to miss on showing you my Ipsy this month.

What is Ipsy Glam Bag?
Ipsy is a monthly beauty subscription that sends out the latest and greatest beauty items to your door every month. And not only do you get to try some great beauty products, but it all comes in a handy makeup bag each month.

Cost: $10 per month

February Ipsy Glam Bag
The Look of Love Bag
I always have always been impressed with the Ipsy Glam Bags, and I have been a subscriber for a year now.  Still every month I look forward to what surprises that will be included in my glam bag for that month. This Look of Love Bag definitely did not disappoint whatsoever.

POP Beauty Plump Pout Mini in Peony Petal $7.50

I really am excited to break this out for the summer. This Plump Pot Mini is a great pink color. I never have been disappointed with any POP Beauty products, and I know I will love this as well. This is not a full size, but that was surprising to me because it looked full size. I wonder how much bigger full size is.

NuMe Intense Renewal Mask $5

This really must be a great product because it is sold out on the NuMe site. I really have been impressed on what I have seen from all NuMe products, and this sounds like a super intense conditioner, and I cannot wait to use it.

Tini Beauty Eyetini Cordial Cream Shadow + Base In One in Ambrosia $18

I have gotten the Nailtini before, and really liked the nail products from Tini Beauty. I really have been into the cream shadows and base, so I was really excited to see this in this months Ipsy Glam Bag included the Eyetini product. What I really like about the Ambrosia color is that it is a perfect color to have a natural eye look.

City Color Be Matte Blush in Toasted Coconut $3

I really love the natural color of this blush. I think that this color seems more of a bronzer/blush, definetly my kind of blush. I have never tried City Color, but I love trying new cosmetic product. And it is FULL SIZE.

Zoya Nail Lacquer in Odette $9

You know I love getting nail polish in beauty subscriptions, but I really like getting Zoya especially. This polish, in Odette, is part of the Zoya Naturel Collection, and it is beautiful. It seems that this color is inspired by the Pantone color of the year Radiant Orchid; Odette is a lighter matte more pastel orchid color, and is very springy!

February Glam Bag

I really loved February’s bag! Love the pink with the pink leopard, perfect touch for the Valentine’s Day month!

TICKLED PINK OPINION

Overall, I never have any complaints, at all, about any of my Ipsy Glam Bags. I really think that the quality of Ipsy Glam Bag is just excellent, and it just keeps getting better month by month. For February, I  calculated that my Ipsy Glam Bag included around $42.50 of beauty products, and that does not even include the makeup bag, which is just too cute. All of that for $10 a month, umm, YES PLEASE! Ipsy always provides their subscribers with a glam bag that is well worth the money! Like always, I cannot wait for the next Glam Bag.

February Valentine's Lip Factory box Review

I look forward to the mail day when I get my favorite beauty box. This month it came a little later than I expected, but it was worth the wait. Like always! Lip Factory for February was just as great as I expected it to be.

What is Lip Factory?
Lip Factory is a beauty subscription that curates fantastic beauty boxes, with great beauty/makeup for you to explore and try out. Lip Factory prides itself of sending out new brands and new colors to their subscribers.

Cost: $22.00  per month

February Lip Factory box

February Lip Factory box had a little of everything, and I could not more excited to share this great beauty subscription with my readers.

TEEZ Trendy Cosmetics Eve’s Ready to Wear Lipstick in Never Ending Nude$19
I really have enjoyed the other TEEZ Trendy Cosmetic products that Lip Factory has included in past boxes, so I was excited to finally get to try a lip stick. I am used to getting really bold lipsticks, but this lipstick is very natural, and goes on super smooth. What I really like about TEEZ products is that their packaging is so cool looking, very appealing to the eye.

TEEZ Trendy Cosmetics Desert Metals Mascara in Midnight Sky $21
I love getting mascara, and especially when they are full size. One great part of Lip Factory subscription is that everything that you get is full sized! Another product from TEEZ, and I could not be more happy about the application of this mascara, very nice!

Eyelashi Eyelashes $9
I have never used fake eyelashes on my eyelashes, but I think I may try these ones out. I love the packaging of these. These eyelashes are hand-tied with natural fibers. I cannot wait to see how they work.

LASplash Chubby Twist in Cabernet$10
I am in the biggest fan of Chubby Twist type lipsticks/lip balms. This reminds me of the Revlon one that I use, and exactly the shade I would purchase for myself if I was getting it at a store. I love a nice warm lip for colder months.

Starlooks Loose Pan Eyeshadow in Neutral Perp $10
I really really love the color that came in my Lip Factory box this month, a perfect color for me. I have gotten Starlooks shadow  before, and have been pretty impressed, so I really like getting this natural color for my lids.

TICKLED PINK OPINION

I do not think you could find a bigger fan of Lip Factory subscription box than myself, haha. Yes, this is  by far my favorite beauty subscription. I love that I am always introduced to new products, and even better you get to try full sized products. This months, February Lip Factory box was perfect for the month, and a great box for my birthday month! In all I calculated the Lip Factory box to include approximately $69 worth of beauty products, and the monthly cost is only $22 per month. Can we say “WOW”, that is triple the month cost. Like always, I cannot wait to see what they have in store for March. Lip Factory announced they teamed up with CARGO, and I am super excited!

Sample Society January 2014 Review

Well Sample Society is usually one of the first subscription boxes that I review each month, but it seems that I am a little far behind for January. Needless to say, Sample Society is one of my favorite beauty boxes. Yes, I probably say that they are all my favorite, and I think may they all are. But, I really do think that Sample Society, as one of my first beauty boxes that I ever received really won my beauty side over from the very beginning.

What is Sample Society?
For those who do not know what Sample Society is, this a beauty subscription that sends out beauty samples each month. Sample Society is through Beauty Bar and teamed up with Allure. The monthly cost is $15.

JANUARY SAMPLE SOCIETY

For January 2014, Sample Society brought some of the best for 2014.

StriVectin SD Eye Concentrate

This won the Allure Best of Beauty Winner. I really have wanted to try a couple of the StriVectin products for awhile now, I was super excited to see this in January's Sample Society Box. I can only hope that the product is as good as it says it is. This eye concentrate is said to help with lines, puffiness and dark circles, everything that I need in an eye cream!

StriVectin Instant Retexturizing Scrub

Not just one StriVectin products, but two this month! I can always use some nice shower scrub.

Malin & Goetz Vitamin E Face Moisturizer

I really love anything with Vitamin E, it really helps even out skin tone as well as hydrates. I have heard really good things about Malin & Goetz, and this moisturizer proves what great products they have; the moisturizer works fantastic!

Nicole Richie Perfume Sample

I am not the biggest fan of getting perfume in any box. I am pretty picky when it comes to smells. However, this Nicole Richie perfume is not that bad at all. I would probably not buy it on my own, but I am sure for a special occasion I would think about taking it out.

Butter London Horse Power Nail Fertilizer

I was the most excited about this in January's Sample Society. I really can appreciate a nail product that is not polish in a beauty box, and it is full size, even better. This nail fertilizer is made to help strengthen nails. I can use all the strength a nail product can give me, my nails are like paper.

TICKLED PINK OPINION

I did not do a cost by item overview for this box, but the Butter London Horse Power itself was $20, and full size, so the box was definitely worth every penny, especially since Sample Society only costs $15 per month. For January there was way more than $15 worth of products, and I could not be more excited about the start of 2014 for Sample Society. I plan on being a loyal subscriber for months to come.

What did you think of the first 2014 Sample Society Box? If you would like to learn more about Sample Society or sign up for BeautyBar.com Sample Society box yourself, you can HERE.
