Learning and Fun Delivered- M is for Monster Subscription Review

I immediately knew I had found the perfect subscription for our little one when I came across M is for Monster. And when I was offered a box for our little one, I immediately was stoked to see what M is for Monster was all about.

What is M is for Monster?

This is a great subscription for parents who are looking for an educational box for their toddlers. Each month is themed different. You will get four weekly themes with 2 to 3 projects for each theme. You will also get the glue, crayons, markers, paint and all the other supplies needed for that month. Each box will be mail out on the 22nd of the month so you will be ready to start your learning fun on the 1st of the following month. The boxes are separated into to categories: Toddler (2-3 year olds) and Preschool (4-5 year olds). Cost is $32.95 per month.

November
M is for Monster Box
After opening this box up I was super impressed. The schedule of activities for our little one for the month of November was all covered, and the activities looked awesome.  I actually tried to hide the full box from our little one, as she would have wanted to do everything at once. This box also came with a great book to share with the little one. She loved it. While she is not reading yet, we love reading together. And, we really love the Step Into Reading Books, so this was a perfect addition to the box!

Week 1:
This was a fun week of learning, but also having a lot of fun. The theme of this week was Scarecrow. We went over our letters and ABC song with the Scarecrow Letter Matching. Our little one is still trying hard to learn her letters, so this one was a little tough at first. But with some help she was on her way in no time.  During this 1st week, M is for Monster, also had a fun art activity of making a scarecrow. This was a fun activity to go over our shapes, which our little one getting to be an expert at.

Week 2:
Week 2 was a busy week, and the theme was pumpkins. After just carving pumpkins the week before, our little one loved the activities in this week, which included: Pumpkin Sequencing; Pumpkin Stamping, Pumpkin Numbers and Pumpkin Sticker Farm. As a huge fun of stickers you can guess which activity was the most fun for our little one. Her picture was so cute, and there were more stickers for her to hold on to for later week projects.

Week 3:
Great timing with the theme for week 3, Turkeys. Just in time for Thanksgiving. The 3rd week was lots of fun, and we made Turkey Art, Pin the Beak on the Turkey, and Feather Matching. She really was getting good at feather matching, and we brought this out every week in November, as she loved the feathers.  What I really like is that many activities can be used again in other weeks as well.

Week 4:
This was Thanksgiving week, so what better theme for this week then Thanksgiving! For this week we did not write down what we were thankful for, but talked about it. We definitely let our little one know how thankful we were for her! The tracing activity actually was a very popular activity so we did this in earlier weeks,  and I decided that this was an excellent project. We had to make new tracing lines for the little one to practice with.

TICKLED PINK OPINION
I am over the top excited about this subscription. I am not the one who gets to stay home most days with our little one, so daddy is doing some of these projects with our little one. However, I am the creative one, who usually can put this together.  M is for Monster is just the subscription we have been looking for to help. I love that everything, and I mean everything was included in this box. I have little time to put together a monthly activity list and get all the tools to accomplish a lesson plan for our toddler so to have it done for us is FANTASTIC. She was already doing great with learning number, letters, etc., but M is for Monster just helps guide us along, and helps with making our little ones toddler education excel. Excellent educational activities delivered right to our door. I definitely think M is for Monster box is worth every penny!!

Citrus Lane Kids Subscription July Review

I am really loving Citrus Lane.  This will be my second box with Citrus Lane, and I just think the products are great.  And so does our little one.

Citrus Lane is a monthly subscription that sends out age appropriate engaging toys, healthy and nutritious treats, snuggly items, books and so much more for kids ages 6 months to 6 years old. Each monthly box costs $25 per month.

July Citrus Lane Box (33 month old girl)

Cool It Buddy Instant Cold Pack -$3

This is perfect for our little one. I think sometimes kids just get ahead of themselves, and then before you know it they are falling to the ground.  The day we got these, before they came, we had a fall and could have used these ice packs. I know that these will come in handy for sure. Who knows with me being a tad clumsy, they may come in handy for me too. Haha.

Goodbyn Bynto Box and Stickers $9

I love great storage containers. This was super cute bento like container, which  included dishwasher safe stickers to personalize each Bynto box.  Our little one is going to have a hay day decorating her box. We definitely need some more of these!

Melissa & Doug Lace and Trace $10

We absolutely love Melissa & Doug products for our little one. This was perfect because we are learning many of the shapes with our little one. Not only will she get to know shapes, but this is perfect for eye/ hand coordination.

Episencial Might Shield Bug Repellent Lotion $2

Great timing Citrus Lane. The bugs are really coming out right now, and  with the sun staying out longer, we spend many evenings outside. However, the bugs are quite popular. So, this will be great to use not just on our little one, but on us too (hehe).

Sincerely Inc. Postgrams gift
This looks pretty awesome. Postgrams allows you to take pictures from your phone and them send postcards to friends and family. In this month’s Citrus Lane box we got 10 free Postgrams! This will be fun!

TICKLED PINK OPINION:  This box was great, and our little one is already getting into the Lace & Trace. I love being able to see her face light up when she gets to open her own box as well. Love it.  The quality of items is fantastic as well. We cannot wait to see more boxes from Citrus Lane.

What do you think of July’s Citrus Lane Box? What did you get in your box? If you are interested in seeing more from Citrus Lane or to sign up for this wonderful subscription you can on their website HERE.

Until next time…

New Kids Clothing Subscription- Petite Parcel Review

I am very pleased to introduce this great new kids clothing subscription, Petite Parcel. If you have read any of my review on Stitch Fix, it is the same concept but for kids. Yes, kids too can have a personal stylist! And, I must say that Petite Parcel will have your kids looking stylish for sure. These clothes were just so stylish, I wish each of the pieces came in adult sizes as well.

What is Petite Parcel?

Petite Parcel was started by a father/daughter team, who thought it would be great to help the lives of busy parents, and their kids. Petite Parcel is like a personal stylist at your finger tips for your kids. Each month Petite Parcel will send you 5 outfits, not just pieces but whole outfits, right to your doorstep. The clothing is on the higher end of clothing spectrum for children. And great quality clothing and higher quality fabrics as well. Petite Parcel carries clothes from Paige Lauren, Egg Baby, Joah Love etc. If you have not heard of these brands, just wait and see, you will love them.

Parents can sign up, or you can buy Petite Parcel as a gift, on their website, and then after completing a brief style/size form you are set. Petite Parcel will then send you a parcel that is hand selected just for your little one along with a list of each clothing item and the cost. You get 10 days to pick and choose any items that you would like to keep from your Petite Parcel "parcel", and then whatever you do not want to keep just ship back to Petite Parcel with the return shipping label included in your Petite Parcel.

Cost: Petite Parcel updated their subsciption and There is now no upfront cost to subscribers. For 1 quarter and 1 child it cost $14.99; and for 2 children $19.99 per quarter.

Okay I am sure you are anxious to see the clothes already... Just a little background about our Petite Parcel, this was for our little girl who is 2 years old.

Our first Petite Parcel

Joah Love Jordan Jean Leggings ($27) and Joah Love Jolie Star Tunic ($46)

I seriously am in love with Joah Love clothing. The leggings were so soft, and worked perfectly with not just this Joah Love Tunic, but would look great with any of the shirts, an overall great versatile piece. And we are very into leggings right now, as our little one really is such an active girl leggings are just perfect for her.  And I seriously would wear the Joah Love Jolie Star Tunic if it came in my size. So very cute, and the coral color was beautiful.

Egg Baby Jersey Flounce Dress ($36)

This was my favorite pieces in this Petite Parcel, and perfect for the season. Again, I would wear this if it came in my size. One thing about dresses for little girls is that they all are just so darn cute. However, this Jersey Dress took the cake, one of the cutest dresses I have seen.

Joah Love Kimber Shorts ($38) and Joah Love Amber Double Ruffle Tee ($30)

This is just the All American little girl outfit. I loved the white shirt paired with denim shorts, so very classic. These pieces would be perfect this summer. One great thing about the denim shorts is that they were super soft and moveable. Sometimes denim is pretty confining, even for a 2 year old, so I was happy to see some soft moveable denim items that would work well with any shirt that was included in our Petite Parcel. And likewise for the white ruffle tee, that tee too would work well with any of pants, shorts or skirts. Great picks!

Paige Lauren Classic Dress with Leggings ($52)

The color of this dress was just so beautiful. And the feel of this dress even more beautiful. I have heard that Paige Lauren has the best feeling fabric for their clothing, and umm yes that is correct. Can I get some nice feeling Paige Lauren clothing too please?

Joah Love Nina Skirt ($38) and Joah Love Roxy Tank ($28)

These two pieces were just so cute, I felt like our little one was a little grown up in this outfit. While I loved the skirt, and thought it was just adorable, Daddy was not the biggest fan. I think it just made her look too mature for her Daddy’s taste. Maybe with some black leggings, it would work better. The shirt, on the other hand, we both loved. This would be something Daddy would pick out for our little one on his own; the black stripes were so cute with the bright coral color. Super cute picks again from Petite Parcel. We really are loving Joah Love clothing all together as well.

Tickled Pink Opinion: Overall I am super impressed by Petite Parcel. There is not one piece in this whole box that we did not like. Each piece was perfectly our style, and worked well for our little girl. With clothing subscriptions I find that sometimes subscriptions boxes are a great way to go, other times I think the clothing does not fit the member whatsoever.  However, Petite Parcel, really has the styling down perfectly. The only thing little hiccup we had was some of the pieces were a little more pricey than we intend to spend on clothing. Petite Parcel does explain that they are a kids clothing subscription that sends out high quality clothing, so the disclosure on the price is there. AND, another great thing about Petite Parcel is that they feel strongly about giving back. A portion of Petite Parcel's profits go to K.I.D.S Charity, which helps kids out in tough situations. You can find out more about K.I.D.S HERE.

What do you think of Petite Parcel? Do you need a little work taken off your shoulders, well let Petite Parcel do you kids' shopping? If you would like to learn more or sign up for a Petite Parcel subscription you can HERE.  And do not forget that for anyone who signs up for Petite Parcel can receive 15% off their total purchase from their Petite Parcel box using Promo code TICKLEDPINK15!

Until next time…

Carefree Crafts Mother's Day Box Review and Promo Code

We really do love getting these craft subscription kits for kids. This month we got the opportunity to try out Carefree Crafts. What I really enjoy about this kids craft subscription is that Carefree Crafts is great for kids of a wide variety of ages (preschool to elementary), each project does not take much time, as many kids do not like to sit still for too long, and the Carefree Crafts kit includes everything you need to complete 5 great crafts.

Each monthly Carefree Crafts Box comes with 5 ready to go projects, and costs $14.95 each month. Carefree Crafts also has the option of purchasing individual craft kits on their own.

Carefree Crafts comes from a mother of three small children, and as a mother , Carolyn, the owner of Carefree Crafts, wanted to curate a box that allowed parents  to spend fun time with their children and not have to run around a purchase the supplies ahead of time.  Each kit also helps kids develop their fine motor skills, imagination and helps grown-ups get  their kids away from the technology surrounding us today, promoting kids to use their creativity.

Carefree Crafts May Mother's Day Box
( 5 activities, plus 1 extra bonus craft included in May’s box)

COLOR A FLOWER POT FOR MOM

This flower pot was our first project, and while we really loved the 3 designs that came with the pot, our little one decided that this pot was going to be for Grandma. I love that this pot also came with the markers as well. This was our favorite out of the box.

MOM’S MEMO BOARD

What a great idea. We are looking forward to making this Memo Board, and I think the little one probably will love practicing her shapes and drawing on this neat dry erase board.

MOTHER’S DAY FLOWER CARD

This was a perfect addition to this kit. This was the second project we completed. The Carefree Craft came with glue to complete some of these projects, and I think our little on was more excited about the glue. For a preschooler, this took a little more grown up attention, but was a lot of fun. Here is our finished Mother’s Day Flower Card.

ALL ABOUT MY MOM CARD

Our little one loves coloring,  so these, along with the markers were perfect for her to use her coloring skills.

MOM CHARM BRACELET

This was a perfect project to work on those fine motor skills. We had a great time putting this together, and our little one loved all the color beads.  This was a great project for a gift for Mom.  Our finished Project below.

MAKE A BUTTERFLY MOSAIC FOR MOM

This looks like so much fun, however, we have set this aside for a project with Daddy on a rainy day. I have a feeling this one is going to take a little more time, and perfect craft activity to do with Daddy..  Very excited to see the finished project.

We had so much fun with our Carefree Crafts kit, and loved that this kit included everything needed to complete each project. Our Mother’s Day/ Grandma gifts were a hit, and we had so much putting together the couple that we could, and look forward to finishing up the other projects as well.

If you are interested in getting a kit for your little one, you can find out more information about Carefree Crafts HERE. And best of all you can get your first kit now for $5.95, if you use Promo Code SAVE60. What do you think of Carefree Crafts?

Until next time…
