Fab Kids Malibu Dreams Collection Selection Review

I was so excited to see all the cute clothing in the latest collection, Malibu Dreams, from Fab Kids. And when Fab Kids graciously offered to send me an outfit to review on the blog, I was even more excited. I could hardly wait to see the outfit pick we made from the new collection. You would think the clothing was for me rather than our little one. I am sure I was more excited about the clothing; she was more excited about just opening the package.

What is Fab Kids?
Fab Kids, which is affiliated with Just Fab, is a company started by a couple of mothers, and Christina Applegate (movie star), and founded to let girls,  and now boys, express their individuality through fashion, while allowing parents to get high end clothing at reasonable prices. After taking the style quiz, Fab Kids then picks out clothing perfect for your little one. You can pick and choose what you would like. Every outfit comes with two pieces now (used to be three, but the third item was usually just a headband or hair accessory), and the cost used to be $39.95, but is now $29.95. You are not obligated to pick a set each month, and can skip if you choose as well. Right now new members get their first outfit for $15, plus free shipping!

Fab Kids
Malibu Dreams

I have to say, this was one of my favorite collections from Fab Kids thus far. I just loved the palm tree prints and the bright spring colors. If you would like to take a look at some of the other outfits, you can HERE.

My Pick- Cali Chic Outfit
What I liked most about this outfit is that it would work perfect for other seasons, and would work very well mix matching with different tops or bottoms. I also love the pattern on both the skirt and the shirt.  I know I say this a lot with Fab Kids outfits, but if it came in my size I would so buy it for myself!

Stripped Ruffle Top $18 Retail

I just love ruffle tops during the summer time, it adds that extra girly flair to an otherwise dull tank top. By no means is this tank top dull, and not only will look cute with the palm tree skirt, but also would look great with most other bottoms we have for our little one; Very versatile! My favorite part of this top, other than the ruffle, is that the zipper in the back is a mint green, which just adds that extra touch of fun to the tank top.

Palm Tree Skater Skirt $26 Retail
When I first saw the Malibu Dreams Collection, I knew I had to pick something with this cute palm tree print. After actually getting this skirt, it is even cuter in person. And again, if you add some leggings with this skirt and a long sleeve shirt it will be perfect for colder weather as well.  And, like all Fab Kids clothing I have ever received, this skirt was made of great fabric and quality made.

TICKLED PINK OPINION

I have not yet received an outfit from Fab Kids that has not impressed me. I have many outfits from Fab Kids now, and they have been through the wash several times, and each piece still withstands the wear and tear, ending up still looking awesome. Not only is the clothing fantastic, but the price is equally as fantastic. For the cost of $29.99, I received a great quality and stylish outfit worth $44.  Not to mention the convienance of not having to wonder around shopping malls, etc, for clothing, rather these great clothes are delivered right to my door each month.  Like always, I cannot wait to see what Fab Kids comes out with next!

What did you think of the Malibu Dreams collection from Fab Kids? If you are interested in learning more about Fab Kids or signing up, you can HERE.  Don’t forget new members get their first outfit for $15.

Until next time

Fab Kids August Back-to-School Box Review

I completely adore Fab Kids right now. There new line for August Back-To-School collection is just great. And, it is Fab Kid’s largest Back-To-School collection ever. With all the awesome picks it is hard not want it all.

What is Fab Kids?

AUGUST BACK-TO-SCHOOL
FAB KIDS PICK

Stripe Play Outfit

This outfit usually would cost $60 to buy piece by piece, however, with Fab Kids the cost is only $39.95.

Back Zip Stripped Dress- $34

I absolutely love this dress, and after I received it from Fab Kids I loved it even more. This dress is just so cute. Love the black and white, with contrasting zipper in back. The skirt has just the right amount of twirl, which I love.  I think I would have to buy something like this for me if it was in my size.

Fab Soft Leggings - $16

These were said to be super soft, and yes indeed they are. These are perfect for a great fall look when the weather starts to get a little colder.

Blue Bow Hair Clip- $10

Fab Kids advertises this outfit with a Red Headband, which I prefer, but we got a blue bow hair clip. I would not normally pick this out for our little one, but I am sure we can wear it sometime.

I would have had our little one try it on, but she has not been in the mood for modeling off clothing for pictures lately.  However, here is the full outfit off the Fab Kids site. So cute! Wish we had the red hair band now, the red just accents it perfectly.

Top Picks for Next Fab Kids Box

Top Boys Picks

TICKLED PINK OPINION:         After receiving this outfit from Fab Kids, which was my second experience getting clothing from Fab Kids, I liked this subscription even more. The clothing was just so cute. The materials the clothing are made out of felt great and looked like they were very well made in my eyes. I probably will  not get clothing every single month from Fab Kids, but every other month would be great for our little one since she is growing so fast lately. The big plus about Fab Kids is that it makes getting clothing for our little ones very convenient for parents, and not too expensive. And, I think it is great that they are offering boys clothing now.  I look forward to seeing more from Fab Kids, and even though I said I would wait a couple months to get more clothing for our little one, I may have to give in and get some of my top picks for our little one before they sell out.

Kids Clothing Subscription- Sweet Pea Box Review

I have recently come across a new subscription, Sweet Pea Box, and I could not be more excited about this new subscription. Sweet Pea Box was started in April by a husband and wife team, who also have gone through the trials of shopping for and with little ones.  Sweet Pea Box to the rescue. Sweet Pea Box has offered me the opportunity to try out a month of their amazing subscription to share with my readers, and I am very excited to share this great subscription box with you.

Tell them your child’s personality, what brands you like, anything to help our stylist create the perfect box for your child. You can even split the box between your children, you just have you let you stylist know.  And then…
Just choose how many items you want and shipping is free.
§             4 item box $30.00
§             6 item box $40.00
§             8 item box $50.00

Sweet Pea Box covers sizes 0-3 months all the way to size 8. Billing is monthly on the day you first subscribe, and you can cancel anytime.

Sweet Pea Box- 6 piece box

When Sweet Pea Box contacted me they had me send them specific information about our little one; Gender, Size, what are our favorite Colors (Bright, Pastel, Dark, White, Earth Tone or Any), and Style (Athletic, Comfy, Princess, Playful, Preppy, Hipster or Any), So they could pick out the perfect clothing to fit our little ones style. We have a little girl, who is in 3T, we like Bright, Pastel and Dark, and the style we chose was Playful. I added in extra notes that she is very active and athletic, but we still like her clothing to be girly as well. And this was the wonderful clothing we sent from Sweet Pea Box.

2B Real Flower  Summer Dress

This is super cute, and will be perfect for a special gathering. The material also seems like it will be easy to clean.

Gymboree Stripe Shorts and Flip Flop Tank

This was my favorite outfit out of the Sweet Pea Box, and perfectly fits what we would pick our for our little one. I love the bright colors and the bows on the tank.

Violet and Moss Purple Hummingbird Dress

Love Violet and Moss clothing, and was excited to see this dress in this Sweet Pea Box. Violet and Moss is 100% organic cotton, and is super soft. A Violet and Moss dress similar to this is sold on Kate Quinn Organics for $58. This will be a perfect sweet dress for fall.

French Toast Ruffle Teal Tank and
Gymboree Flower Khaki Shorts

The French Toast Ruffle Teal Tank is Super cute and go perfect with the shorts. This is a great tank to wear before during the last hot days of summer, and will look perfect with a little sweater during colder months.

We were just looking for some khaki shorts, so we were happy to see some included in our Sweet Pea Box. Our little one does not wear khaki too often , but these with the flower accents are just really cute. Also they are elastic waste band, so it is even better for our active potty training days lately. Elastic just is so much easier to pull up and down, no fuss is great for us.

TICKLED PINK OPINION: I could not be more excited about Sweet Pea Box. This is a perfect kids clothing subscription, and so convenient and easy for parents. Even though I do not mind going out to shop for our little one, I can always use a little extra help, since we have such busy schedules. What I also like about Sweet Pea Box is that all the pieces perfectly fit our little ones style. The Sweet Pea Box for 6 pieces was $40, so around $6.60 per piece, which is just an amazing deal. I will most definitely be getting another box for our little one. Sweet Pea Box is also perfect for gift giving. Cannot wait to see our next Sweet Pea Box.

New Kids Clothing Subscription- Petite Parcel Review

I am very pleased to introduce this great new kids clothing subscription, Petite Parcel. If you have read any of my review on Stitch Fix, it is the same concept but for kids. Yes, kids too can have a personal stylist! And, I must say that Petite Parcel will have your kids looking stylish for sure. These clothes were just so stylish, I wish each of the pieces came in adult sizes as well.

What is Petite Parcel?

Petite Parcel was started by a father/daughter team, who thought it would be great to help the lives of busy parents, and their kids. Petite Parcel is like a personal stylist at your finger tips for your kids. Each month Petite Parcel will send you 5 outfits, not just pieces but whole outfits, right to your doorstep. The clothing is on the higher end of clothing spectrum for children. And great quality clothing and higher quality fabrics as well. Petite Parcel carries clothes from Paige Lauren, Egg Baby, Joah Love etc. If you have not heard of these brands, just wait and see, you will love them.

Parents can sign up, or you can buy Petite Parcel as a gift, on their website, and then after completing a brief style/size form you are set. Petite Parcel will then send you a parcel that is hand selected just for your little one along with a list of each clothing item and the cost. You get 10 days to pick and choose any items that you would like to keep from your Petite Parcel "parcel", and then whatever you do not want to keep just ship back to Petite Parcel with the return shipping label included in your Petite Parcel.

Cost: Petite Parcel updated their subsciption and There is now no upfront cost to subscribers. For 1 quarter and 1 child it cost $14.99; and for 2 children $19.99 per quarter.

Okay I am sure you are anxious to see the clothes already... Just a little background about our Petite Parcel, this was for our little girl who is 2 years old.

Our first Petite Parcel

Joah Love Jordan Jean Leggings ($27) and Joah Love Jolie Star Tunic ($46)

I seriously am in love with Joah Love clothing. The leggings were so soft, and worked perfectly with not just this Joah Love Tunic, but would look great with any of the shirts, an overall great versatile piece. And we are very into leggings right now, as our little one really is such an active girl leggings are just perfect for her.  And I seriously would wear the Joah Love Jolie Star Tunic if it came in my size. So very cute, and the coral color was beautiful.

Egg Baby Jersey Flounce Dress ($36)

This was my favorite pieces in this Petite Parcel, and perfect for the season. Again, I would wear this if it came in my size. One thing about dresses for little girls is that they all are just so darn cute. However, this Jersey Dress took the cake, one of the cutest dresses I have seen.

Joah Love Kimber Shorts ($38) and Joah Love Amber Double Ruffle Tee ($30)

This is just the All American little girl outfit. I loved the white shirt paired with denim shorts, so very classic. These pieces would be perfect this summer. One great thing about the denim shorts is that they were super soft and moveable. Sometimes denim is pretty confining, even for a 2 year old, so I was happy to see some soft moveable denim items that would work well with any shirt that was included in our Petite Parcel. And likewise for the white ruffle tee, that tee too would work well with any of pants, shorts or skirts. Great picks!

Paige Lauren Classic Dress with Leggings ($52)

The color of this dress was just so beautiful. And the feel of this dress even more beautiful. I have heard that Paige Lauren has the best feeling fabric for their clothing, and umm yes that is correct. Can I get some nice feeling Paige Lauren clothing too please?

Joah Love Nina Skirt ($38) and Joah Love Roxy Tank ($28)

These two pieces were just so cute, I felt like our little one was a little grown up in this outfit. While I loved the skirt, and thought it was just adorable, Daddy was not the biggest fan. I think it just made her look too mature for her Daddy’s taste. Maybe with some black leggings, it would work better. The shirt, on the other hand, we both loved. This would be something Daddy would pick out for our little one on his own; the black stripes were so cute with the bright coral color. Super cute picks again from Petite Parcel. We really are loving Joah Love clothing all together as well.

Tickled Pink Opinion: Overall I am super impressed by Petite Parcel. There is not one piece in this whole box that we did not like. Each piece was perfectly our style, and worked well for our little girl. With clothing subscriptions I find that sometimes subscriptions boxes are a great way to go, other times I think the clothing does not fit the member whatsoever.  However, Petite Parcel, really has the styling down perfectly. The only thing little hiccup we had was some of the pieces were a little more pricey than we intend to spend on clothing. Petite Parcel does explain that they are a kids clothing subscription that sends out high quality clothing, so the disclosure on the price is there. AND, another great thing about Petite Parcel is that they feel strongly about giving back. A portion of Petite Parcel's profits go to K.I.D.S Charity, which helps kids out in tough situations. You can find out more about K.I.D.S HERE.

What do you think of Petite Parcel? Do you need a little work taken off your shoulders, well let Petite Parcel do you kids' shopping? If you would like to learn more or sign up for a Petite Parcel subscription you can HERE.  And do not forget that for anyone who signs up for Petite Parcel can receive 15% off their total purchase from their Petite Parcel box using Promo code TICKLEDPINK15!

Until next time…
