Kids Clothing Subscription- Sweet Pea Box Review

I have recently come across a new subscription, Sweet Pea Box, and I could not be more excited about this new subscription. Sweet Pea Box was started in April by a husband and wife team, who also have gone through the trials of shopping for and with little ones.  Sweet Pea Box to the rescue. Sweet Pea Box has offered me the opportunity to try out a month of their amazing subscription to share with my readers, and I am very excited to share this great subscription box with you.

What is Sweet Pea Box?
Sweet Pea Box is a kids monthly subscription box that send you a box once a month full of clothing just for the little ones in your life. For each box you get, Sweet Pea Box will ask what size your children wear and what colors and styles they like. Finally, you can get as specific as you like by adding a message to the stylist for each box you get. Tell them your child’s personality, what brands you like, anything to help our stylist create the perfect box for your child. You can even split the box between your children, you just have you let you stylist know.  And then…
Just choose how many items you want and shipping is free.
§             4 item box $30.00
§             6 item box $40.00
§             8 item box $50.00

Sweet Pea Box covers sizes 0-3 months all the way to size 8. Billing is monthly on the day you first subscribe, and you can cancel anytime.

Sweet Pea Box- 6 piece box

When Sweet Pea Box contacted me they had me send them specific information about our little one; Gender, Size, what are our favorite Colors (Bright, Pastel, Dark, White, Earth Tone or Any), and Style (Athletic, Comfy, Princess, Playful, Preppy, Hipster or Any), So they could pick out the perfect clothing to fit our little ones style. We have a little girl, who is in 3T, we like Bright, Pastel and Dark, and the style we chose was Playful. I added in extra notes that she is very active and athletic, but we still like her clothing to be girly as well. And this was the wonderful clothing we sent from Sweet Pea Box.

2B Real Flower  Summer Dress

This is super cute, and will be perfect for a special gathering. The material also seems like it will be easy to clean.

Gymboree Stripe Shorts and Flip Flop Tank

This was my favorite outfit out of the Sweet Pea Box, and perfectly fits what we would pick our for our little one. I love the bright colors and the bows on the tank.

Violet and Moss Purple Hummingbird Dress

Love Violet and Moss clothing, and was excited to see this dress in this Sweet Pea Box. Violet and Moss is 100% organic cotton, and is super soft. A Violet and Moss dress similar to this is sold on Kate Quinn Organics for $58. This will be a perfect sweet dress for fall.

French Toast Ruffle Teal Tank and
Gymboree Flower Khaki Shorts

The French Toast Ruffle Teal Tank is Super cute and go perfect with the shorts. This is a great tank to wear before during the last hot days of summer, and will look perfect with a little sweater during colder months.

We were just looking for some khaki shorts, so we were happy to see some included in our Sweet Pea Box. Our little one does not wear khaki too often , but these with the flower accents are just really cute. Also they are elastic waste band, so it is even better for our active potty training days lately. Elastic just is so much easier to pull up and down, no fuss is great for us.

TICKLED PINK OPINION: I could not be more excited about Sweet Pea Box. This is a perfect kids clothing subscription, and so convenient and easy for parents. Even though I do not mind going out to shop for our little one, I can always use a little extra help, since we have such busy schedules. What I also like about Sweet Pea Box is that all the pieces perfectly fit our little ones style. The Sweet Pea Box for 6 pieces was $40, so around $6.60 per piece, which is just an amazing deal. I will most definitely be getting another box for our little one. Sweet Pea Box is also perfect for gift giving. Cannot wait to see our next Sweet Pea Box.

AUGUST  SAFFRON ROUGE
INNER CIRCLE BOX

One thing that impressed me right away with this subscription was the packaging and presentation. The first box, which kept the actual Inner Circle box was packaged very well so that nothing would break. Then, when I opened the Inner Circle package, I saw again that it was well packaged and nicely presented as well,  which I was impressed by.

Dr. Hauschka’s Lavender Bath - $6.60

I love getting bath products, and cannot wait to give this lavender bath a try. This is a limited edition lavender bath from the German company, Dr. Hauschka’s. This is perfect for a night time bath to relax, and ease my mind. Now if I only could make the time for a nice relaxing bath. The idea sound great though.

The Body Deli’s Palm Spring’s Collection Hand and Body Lotion- $4.50

Okay, let me just tell you I just found my new favorite lotion. This lotion is just wonderful, and it smells so great. It is like a grapefruit, ginger, jasmine, brought together makes for a wonderfully fresh and vibrant smell, and not too over powering.

The Body Deli’s Palm Spring’s Collection Perfume- $5

The perfume from the Palm Springs Collection is just as great as the lotion, and is just the right kind of perfume for my taste.

red flower Birch Mineral Hydrotherapy Soaking Plundge- $1.50

Another great bath time product. This is said to help with muscles and joints. I think I may leave this for the other half, since we are doing some heavy duty workout stuff lately, and he often says his muscles are aching. This smells wonderful though.

Suki Butter Cream Healing Salve- $1.30

Loving these Suki products that I have been getting in my boxes lately. This is said to help the dryest of skin, and perfect for feet. I will give this a try right before bed.

TICKLED PINK OPINION: The total value of this Inner Circle box is around $21, which is a little under the cost of this subscription, which is $24.99.  If you take into account shipping the value of the boxes evens out with what you pay.  Additionally, I think that with shipping you could not get any of these product for less than $25. I am really excited about this new Inner Circle Subscription from Saffron Rouge because it has introduced me to some brand new products that I have never heard of before. I cannot wait to see what is to come from Saffron Rouge and the Inner Circle Box.

August Pretty Power Box Review

I was super excited to see  Pretty Power Box in my mailbox this month again. I have been a very big fan of Pretty Pink Box since its launch a couple months ago, because I just love the concept behind the box so much.  This is Pretty Power Box’s third box since it’s start. And I cannot wait to share it with you.

What is Pretty  Power Box?

Pretty Power Box is a subscription box for the female entrepreneur. Each month Pretty Power Box will send out items to help create a positive work-life balance, which, as I know first hand, can be quite difficult at times so any help , like the Pretty Power Box, is appreciated. Cost per month is $15 per month.

AUGUST  PRETTY POWER BOX

Many might wonder where the information card is for this box, however, Pretty Power Box has all the information you need to find out about what is in the August Box on their Facebook Page, HERE.

Jenny Bean Beautiful Mustache Respect Candle - $15

This candle is just so darn cute, and smells great. This is Jenny Bean Beautiful’s best selling candle and I can see why, the mustache is just so popular lately. I do not get many candles in my monthly subscription boxes, so I really get excited when I get one. This will go to use right away.

N4You All Natural Soap in Apricot Freesia and Beach Breezes- $6 each

These soaps are just beautiful looking, they were packaged so cute, and smell great. These soaps are made out of all natural ingredients: Coconut Oil , Palm Oil, Sunflower Oil and Castor Oil, Fragrance and Mica. I like that you know what you are putting on your skin.

A little bit about N4You: The N4you product line started with an idea to make natural products for the body and the soul. N4you offers an all natural alternative to many of the items you use daily.

Coast of Eden Lip Balm in Vanilla Mint- $3.99 each

These lip balms are just great, and now I have two; one for work, and one for home. Just what I thought Pretty Power Box had in mind when they included two! These lip balms are all natural, and are made out of Shea Butter, Cocoa Butter, Apricot Kernel oil,  and Jojoba Oil.

Business Card Holder- $1.30

Perfect for any business women. However, if you do not have business cards to fit inside this business card holder also fits the N4You soaps perfectly. Business Card holder turned soap dish.

Nature Valley Granola Thins Dark Chocolate- $1

I never remember a Nature Valley granola bar tasting so yummy. This is a perfect grab and go snack. Pretty Power Box has been introducing me to some pretty good on the go snacks, and not so bad for you either.

Pretty Power Box Pen- $2

I got one of these in my first box, and we use it all the time at the house. This pen writes great, and has little grips as well.

Pretty Power Box- Box- $2

I cannot forget to showcase what all these goodies come in, this lovely box. Each month I get a different looking one. August’s box was perfect to keep in our little ones room. Great for storing her stickers, color crayons, etc. This box just adds that extra little unique touch to the Pretty Power Box subscription that I really like. Next month I would love to see a very chic black and white patterned box, hehe J

TICKLED PINK OPINION: I always enjoy my monthly Pretty Power Box. I never really can guess what is going to be in it next, which I like. Surprises are fun. Pretty Power Box gives you a little of everything in one box, which makes it a great overall subscription.  Additionally, Pretty Power Box would be great to give as a gift to a great co-worker, friend or family member in your life.  And all the great goodies in this box totaled around $37, which is double what the monthly cost for this subscription is, which is awesome.  I look forward to the next Pretty Power Box creation. Here is to the anticipation of September’s Box!

Flowers For all Occasions- The Bouqs Co. Unboxing, Review and Promo/Discount

SAVE 20% off your first The Bouq if you link up through Tickled Pink in the Rain HERE.

I heard of The Bouqs Co. a while ago, and have been wanting to give them a try ever since. I was excited to get the chance to get a discount on my first Bouq, and could not wait to see what this flower service was all about.

This is an online subscription or one time shot flower delivery service. However, this is not your typical local flower company. The Bouqs flowers cut on the day they are ordered and deliver straight from the farm so you get the freshest bouq possible! This means delivery just 4 days after cut, vs 10-14 elsewhere. The Bouqs deliver stems grown on the equator, and 10,000 feet above sea level, which means one thing: sun. And more sun means more color.

The Bouqs offers a one time purchase or you can sign up for one of their subscirptions, so you never forget a special occasion. And each bouquet starts at $40, and that covers shipping.

My First The Bouqs Co. Experience

The hardest part for me was trying to first figure out, which bouquet I wanted to send. Seriously, the bouquets that The Bouqs offers are just gorgeous. Check out some of my favorites:

I already knew I was going to send some flowers to our little one, and my fiance’. I know, who sends flowers to a guy, haha. I was thinking it was sweet though. So, I was looking for something less feminine for this The Bouqs Co. pick, so I went with The Epic.

After picking out your Bouq, you run through the process of specializing a little note for whom ever you are sending the flowers to, and then pick the day you would like it to arrive.

A week after I purchased the Bouq online, it arrived fresh at our doorstep, signature required.  From South America all the way up to Washington State in a week, very impressive.

My fiance’ and little one were very excited to see a package addressed to them finally, haha. I was at work, but got texts and pictures of the flowers. The flowers were just beautiful, and very fresh. The Bouqs provides instructions on what to do with your flowers once you get them.

The Bouqs was a hit at our house, and I cannot wait to send out some more.

PROMO/ DISCOUNT:

Right now you can save 20% off your The Bouqs purchase if you use my direct link HERE.

Is there someone special in your life, a special event coming up, or you just want to send some flowers just because? Well The Bouqs is not only convenient, hassle free, but it also has beautiful flowers. You can find out more about or get your first The Bouqs HERE.

Until next time

First Bluum Box Review

I have been trying out kid boxes lately, not just clothing boxes (I think kid clothing boxes out there right now are actually better than adult ones to tell you the truth, and I am addicted) but some that actually have products that help your child develop, and include things that kids can have fun with. I have tried Citrus Lane, Kiwi Crate, and Crafter’s Crate to name a few. This month I decided to try out the Bluum Box, since I was seeing so many great boxes from last month.

What is Bluum Box?

Bluum Box is a monthly subscription that sends out goodies for mom and child. Each month Bluum sends the most sought after products for mom and child to try out. Each box is curated to fit around the gender of the child, age of the child and developmental stage of the child. The monthly cost for Bluum is $24.95

August Bright Horizon’s Bluum Box

This Bluum box was for a pre-schooler. The theme was Bright Horizons, which included products that are made for pre-school who “beats to their own drum”. Our little one most definitely is in that stage, so independent.

Uber Mom Wipe Box- $7

While this is a nice wipe travel case, we usually just pack the travel packs of wipes without a case. I am sure we will get some use out of this though, and I will put some wipes inside it. I do really like the design.

Parragon Books Portable Checkers- $9

This was a Mommy item, but I am sure the little one would have fun playing with it as well. I am not sure she is at the age to 100% get the concept of how to play checkers, but we have not tried, so I guess you never know. However, please tell me if your 33 month old is playing checkers yet.

Sneakz Organic Yummy Veggie Chocolate Milkshake $3.50 (for 2)

These looked great for the little one, and I was excited to have her try it out. However, she did not like them at all. I actually tasted it, as I wanted to see for myself. And yes, they are not too yummy actually. Well at least they seem healthy enough, just not for us.

Tic Tac Toe Fuzzy Socks - $4

These are very soft, and very cute. I am sure we will start wearing them around the house once it gets colder, as they seem pretty warm.

Discovery Kids Incredible Zoo 3D Sticker Book- $5.50

This was right up our little ones alley. She loves animals, and I was very excited to show her this book. She like the pictures and the stickers very much, but really did not get the 3D thing yet. I am sure she will figure it out, as long as we do not lose the glasses first, haha.

TICKLED PINK OPINION: Overall the value of the box was around $29, and that is not bad considering I used a promo code for this box, so I didn’t have to pay the $24.95 price. The only thing about this box that I do not get is how it is themed. I do not think any of the items in the box really fit well together, and it seems that they just threw a bunch of items together. I also have been looking at other people’s boxes, and I have seen some pretty awesome boxes out there this month, which makes me wonder what happened to this one. For my first month with Bluum I was a little disappointed unfortunately. Additionally, I do not think that the mommy item, checkers, really fits most mothers. Most moms I know do not have time to sit and play checkers when you are looking after a toddler. Enough ranting though, there are some good items in our Bluum box that we will get some use out of. And all that being said, I will be sticking with Bluum for 1 more month to see if the next box is better.

What did you think of your Bluum box this month? If you are interested in learning more about the Bluum Box or signing up you can HERE.

Until next time…
