Poppy Parcel July Review

I really enjoyed my first Poppy Parcel, and I have been looking forward to the 2nd Poppy Parcel ever since.  And Now I am excited to share the 2nd box with you.

What is Poppy Parcel?

Alex and Lindsay are the Founders and CEO’s of Poppy Parcel and they have come up with a great box that sends out special treats (3-4 to be exact) for the everyday ordinary girl. Very simple concept, but the box is full of amazing items, for just $19.99 a month.

July Poppy Parcel

Baggu Fun Tote- $7

This is a perfect, and while it is just a little tote I was excited to see it in this month’s Poppy Parcel. A great Eco friendly  bag for lunches or shopping.

Pear Tree Greetings Notepad Pack- $20

I am a big fan of Pear Tree Greetings products. I have ordered Pear Tree Holiday cards for Christmas before and I was very happy with the products. This notepad/stationary pack is just too cute.  The very popular macaroons, made for a great design on this stationary pack.  I can definitely use this pack, and love sending out handwritten cards so this will come in handy.  And it came with a $10 coupon as well.

Just Lovely Things Headband-$12

I am not the biggest headband wearer, but this one is super cute. What I like best about this head band is that it is not only cute and a great color, but it is comfortable on as well.

Coupons

Poppy Parcel also came with three coupons this month: 1) 20% coupon to Diament Jewelry; 2) 20% coupon to Brick & Arrow; and 3) 15% off my August Poppy Parcel Box. I am super excited about the discount on August’s Poppy Parcel Box.

TICKLED PINK OPINON:  I would say Poppy Parcel is more about delivering quality items to subscribers over quantity. July’s box items were worth more than the monthly cost for the Poppy Parcel box, However, for some items I  probably would not pay the price for them on their own, but appreciate getting them in this month’s Poppy Parcel box. The unique thing about Poppy Parcel is that this box is like getting a gift. Each month there is something different and surprising. Another thing that is great about Poppy Parcel is that this is a great subscription to gift to a friend or family member.

If you are looking on getting something special for yourself or someone special in your life, Poppy Parcel is perfect. What did you think of Poppy Parcel this month? If you are interested in seeing what was in June’s Box you can HERE. Or if you would like to sign up for Poppy Parcel you can HERE.

Until next time

Formula 2 also contains a unique blend of protein and conditioning to help make the nails become healthier, long and strong.  This kit also includes the Nailtiques Nail Laquer in Milan, which includes extra protein, as to provide extra protection and added benefits to your nails. I really love this polish color and cannot wait to give the Formula 2 a try since my nails could use a little extra conditioning and strengthening.

Bling ID Holder- $5

This will be perfect to keep my building card in. I will probably not keep this around my neck, but it is perfect to keep in my purse for easy access when I need it. And it is pretty.

Satin Doll Bracelet-$17

I think I have three bracelets from Satin Doll now, but they are all in different colors. I definitely like bracelets, and I am sure  I will find something to wear this with.

Purely Pro Cosmetics Stuck on you- $24

This is an Eyeliner Fixative that allows you to turn ordinary powder into long lasting, smudge proof liner. This is amazing sounding, and I cannot wait to give it a try.

Lola Blue Pucker up Grapefruit Lip Balm- $2.50

This lip balm smells amazing, and made will all natural ingredients. Great addition to July’s Ambition Box.

TICKLED PINK OPINION:   Ambition Box provided amazing products this month. What I have noticed after reviewing other July Ambition Boxes, is that each subscriber gets a little something different in each box. No one box seems to be the same, which I like. I look forward to using all the products that was in the Ambition Box, so that is always a plus as well.  In total this box contained approximately $71 worth of great beauty products. Very impressive.  I cannot wait to see future Ambition Boxes!

High Five for Friday

Time for another High Five for Friday.  Whoo hoo. Oh I am so looking forward to finally having a weekend off. I am linking up with Lauren Elizabeth over atLauren Elizabeth Blog for High Five for Friday. This week I also am sharing a little video, you cannot see much, but our little one was just too cute.

Here we go.

1. I always seem to share my jewelry on here, but I really love this Love Bracelet from Apple of My Eye Jewelry. This week I thought it was perfect to wear because my wonderfully amazing parents celebrated their 35 wedding anniversary. They are such an inspiration. Can you believe they have been together since they were 14 years old, wow! Now that’s a love story!

2. I finally decided my hair is not too short to curl.  Since I chopped my hair off I really have not done much with my hair other than wear it straight, so this week I decided to curl it up.  Not too shabby, I think .

3. A little trip to the zoo. Our family loves animals, especially the little one and daddy. Here is the little one playing Peek-a-boo with the male orangutan.  Right before this picture our little one had taken a little fall right in front of the Orangutan enclosure,  and she was crying. Less than a minute later the male orangutan came over to the window where we were trying to calm her down, and she instantly was better.

4. Seahawks training is going on this week. Go Seahawks! That is Russell Wilson over there in the red jersey. This is the picture my brother sent me from training. He is an avid Seahawks fan. Cannot wait for the seasons to start.

5. And, to end this week’s High Five for Friday, I wanted to share this cute little video of us putting the little one to sleep the other night. Most of the video is a little dark, but it was a cute little moment.  Oh what a cutie.

Until next time

July Ipsy Glam Bag- Beach Beauty Review

I was really excited about this month’s Ipsy Glam Bag. Who am I kidding though, I am always excited to see what Ipsy has up their sleeves, and I always love it.  For July, as always, Ipsy Glam Bag did not disappoint. I actually liked July’s Glam Bag better than June.

What is Ipsy?
Ipsy is a monthly beauty subscription that sends out the latest and greatest beauty items to your door every month, at the low cost of only $10 per month. And not only do you get to try some great beauty products, but it all comes in a handy makeup bag each month.

July Ipsy Glam Bag

This month Ipsy Glam Bag's theme was Beach Beauty. Ipsy brought out great products that were made for a summery days, and I have to say there were some great picks this month.

The Beach Beauty Glam  Bag

bh cosmetics California Collection

This BH Cosmetics makeup palette includes a shade from each of the California Collection palettes: Hollywood, San Francisco, and Malibu.  This is a new magnetic paper palette and is loaded with three beautiful colors. I love eye shadow pallets and am excited especially to give the coppery gold colors of San Francisco and Malibu a try.

Big Sexy Hair Weather Proof Humidity Resistant Spray

I really like Big Sexy Hair Products. I already tried out this Humidity Resistence Spray and I really like it. I have somewhat frizzy hair, and this really helped in the hot weather.

Pop Pouty Pop Crayon in Coral Crush

Love Lip Crayons. I received a Pop Pouty Crayon in another beauty box, and I really liked the look and feel on my lips. This Coral color I like even better than the other color I received, so I am sure I will equally enjoy this one that I received in my Ipsy Glam Bag.

 Coola Mineral Sunscreen/Moisturizer

It is still pretty warm over here in Seattle. It actually is the hottest around here in September, so this will come in handy throughout the next couple months. As I have gotten older I have grown to appreciate moisturizers and sunscreens for the face. I have gotten a few Coola samples this summer, and I am liking the protection it gives to my skin so far.

Derma-e Microdermebrasion Scrub

I always enjoy getting facial cleansers in my beauty boxes. This microdermabrasion scrub sounds amazing. It is said to Improve the appearance of your skin, buffs away dull surface cells, diminshes the appearance of wrinkles and acne scars, and absorbs excess skin oils with an exclusive crystal blend including Dead Sea Salt and Volcanic Sand. I cannot wait to give it a try. Sounds Fantastic.

Nichole by OPI Selena Gomez Pretty in Plum Nail Lacquer

I received this fantastic Nail Lacquer for referring my wonderful readers to Ipsy Glam Bag.  I am loving this metallic Plum/Fushcia color. Any nail polish in my book is a great addition to any beauty box or bag.

TICKLED PINK OPINION:   Always enjoy my monthly Ipsy Glam Bag, and really think it is one of the best beauty subscriptions out there right now. For only $10 per month, you get some great quality products, and rather than a throw away box, you get a great makeup bag. If you are like me, I go though makeup bags like crazy, so the Ipsy Glam Bags come in handy.

If you would like to see past month’s Ipsy Glam Bags you can see HERE or HERE.  And if you would like to sign up for the amazing Ipsy Glam Bag you can sign up HERE.

What did you think of July’s Ipsy Glam Bag?  What was your favorite product this month?

July's Amazing Anniversary Lip Factory Box Review

Lip Factory may be one of my favorite subscriptions right now. This beauty box is beyond exceptional. And this month’s box exceeded my expectations.

What is Lip Factory?

Lip Factory is a beauty subscription that curates fantastic beauty boxes, with great beauty/makeup for you to explore and try out. Lip Factory prides itself of sending out new brands and new colors to their subscribers. The monthly cost is $22 per month.

July was Lip Factory’s Anniversary and they showed their appreciate with an over-the-top box for their subscribers. It was so great that all the products included didn’t fit in their normal Lip Factory Box.

JULY ANNIVERSARY LIP FACTORY BOX

NCLA Nail Wrap (It Don’t Matter)-$16

Nail Wraps have become quite popular lately. I have used a couple of brands, as I have gotten them in several boxes over the last couple months, and I really like them. They take me a little while longer to put on rather than just doing my nails with nail polish. However, the wraps last longer than nail polish. I am pretty rough on my nails though, so maybe it is just me. These NCLA Nail Wraps I really like because they are black and white, and you get 2 sheets so they will last even longer.

29 Cosmetics Grape Seed Age Protecting Lip Pencil in Brix- $29

I have been growing quite fond of the 29 Cosmetics since I have been getting the Lip Factory Boxes. I really am happy to have gotten a lip pencil, since I usually do not buy lip pencils on my own. I really love the color of this lip pencil, and it really does glide on quite well.

29 Cosmetics Reserves First Crush Grape Seed Age Protecting Moisturizing Lipstick - $24

Another great bonus item in Lip Factory Box this month. This not only smells great, but it feels great on the lips. This is perfect to protect my lips during the summer months, and as a moisturizer before I put on my normal lipstick.

Kur Nourishing Cuticle Oil by Londontown- $25

I really love the Kur line of products by Londontown. I have tried a couple of the products, you can see my post HERE, and I was really was impressed.  This cuticle oil is made out of all natural ingredients, and helps dry, raw and cracked skin at and around the cuticle area. I  am in dire in need of this right now. Perfect timing Lip Factory!

LaSplash Nail Polish in Blowfish Yellow- $3.50

I had never heard of LaSplash before, thus the reason why I love Lip Factory, now finds. I truly like being introduced to new brands. This LaSplash polish is formulated to be quick dry, which is great for me. I am notorious for doing my nails, and then moving on to my next project too quickly, and then ruining my nails.

Korres Liquid Lipstick Rasberry Lip Gloss- $8

This was a perfect neutral color for my lips. It also smelled amazing. I have heard of Korres products, but had never tried any. Always need a new lip gloss, and it matched the lip pencil perfectly.

Belleme Cosmetics Don’t Smudge Eye Liner in Black-$6

Love this eye liner. It went on very nice and smooth, and, like the name says, the eye liner did not smudge.  This is a great eye liner for long days, which often happen with me, so a good eye liner that I do not have to touch up all the time is a must.

LaSplash Cosmetics Smokey Eye Shadow Duo-$6.50

I am a big fan of the smokey eye, so I was excited to see this duo in the July Lip Factory Box. The grey color was very pretty, and I know I will be using this quite often. And this eye shadow was the perfect accompaniment to the eye liner.

Pureceuticals Clarifying Skin Crème

This is a lightweight, non-comedogenic (does not clog your pores) gel crème. What I really like is that is absorbs very quickly into the skin and does not leave a gunky feel on the face. There is nothing worse than cleaning your face, and then after putting your moisturizer on, feeling like you need to wash it again. However, Not with this crème. Another new find for me! Whoo hoo, love new great finds.

Beauty Blender Sponge- $6.50

I have been wanting one of these blender sponges for so long, so you can imagine how excited I was to finally see one. You never could think someone could get so excited for a blender sponge, haha, well I did. These blender sponges definitely lived up to their hype!

TICKLED PINK OPINION: Lip Factory has blown me away the past couple months. It seems that this box is just getting better and better. I truly appreciate a box that sends out majority of full size products. Additionally, this past month the communication through Lip Factory has been excellent. I can really tell that Lip Factory truly appreciate their subscribers, and values the subscribers business. This months anniversary box  had a total value of,by my research and calculations, $125.50 plus worth of products. Wow! With the monthly cost at $22 per month for the Lip Factory Box this has to be one of the best valued boxes I have received in a while. I was truly impressed with July’s Lip Factory Box. What A spectacular value, and great products to boot. I would highly recommend this box, and cannot wait to see more from Lip Factory.

If you are interested in seeing more from Lip Factory, seeing some previous month’s boxes or signing up for this fantastic beauty box you can HERE.

Until next time…
