Awesome August Bonjour Jolie Review

I had some other posts that I wanted to get up before this one, but I was too excited about this month’s Bonjour Jolie box to save it. Bonjour Jolie is quickly becoming one of my favorite subscriptions each month, and I get excited to see what is packed inside this wonderful subscription box with each passing month. A couple months ago when it came out, I thought it would be just another Women’s time of the month box, which are great, but I am quickly finding out that it is packed full with so much more.

August Bonjour Jolie Box

This month the Bonjour Jolie Box’s theme was “Honoring The Feminine”. Each and every time packed in August’s box are items from business’s owned by women, and what great products they are.

The Goods

The time of the month products.  As you can see you get plenty to cover you for the monthly visit of Aunt Flo. Bonjour Jolie also lets you pick what type and brand of products best fit your needs. Very personalized.

The Bonjour Jolie Gift

Peru Silver and Stone Bracelet- $14

This beautiful bracelet was imported from Peru, and handcrafted by local Peru women. Each bracelet is made from alpaca silver and precious stones. These truly are a work of art.

The Edibles

Leccare Lollipops (Peach Cobbler and Apple & Pear) - $3

Each Bonjour Jolie box came with different flavors, and each lollipop are handmade. Very simple ingredients are used in each, but are packed with flavor.  Before I even got to them the little one ate the Apple & Pear. She said it was yummy.

Just Add Honey Tea Company (5 bags of tea)- $3.50

Each of these tea bags are handpacked, and like the lollipops pack a lot of flavor. I always like getting tea in my subscription boxes, and I really like these teas even more because you can make these into some really good iced tea, which I like better than hot tea. Flavors: mint to be, wild blueberry, chocolate delight, berries!, and Georgia peaches.

The Pampering

Beazers Garden Organic Herbal Hand Scrub-$2

This handscrub is made in New York, and is just amazing. Now I just need to order some more.

Happy Hands Lotion in Desert Honey and French Lilac- $1

These are perfect little packs to keep my purse, travel bag or gym bag for a little on the go moisturizer.

Scardey Car Mineral Eye Shadow in Rose Gold- $1.50

This is a beautiful color shadow. I usually do not wear mineral shadow, but I will surely give it a try. Additionally, it came with a great little brush

Bare Apothecary Herbal Bath Salts- $1

I love bath time, and these bath salts, which are all organic and cruelty free, will be great.

Sensible Sanitary Bags- $1

This is great to prevent unnecessary clogging accidents. I have never seen or heard of these, but it makes sense, and I am very surprised that these are not more common.

TICKLED PINK OPINION: I am never disappointed in the Bonjour Jolie subscription. What I really appreciate about this subscription is that it gives you a little bit of everything in one box. And, each month you never know what you are going to get next. I love surprises. This month’s bracelet was just amazingly beautiful, and I really love it. It is not something I would buy on my own, but really can appreciate and see the beauty is something that is handcrafted like that. Like I always say I cannot wait to see more boxes from Bonjour Jolie. The total value of August box was $28.

My first blush Mystery Box Review- July

I am a little backed up on my July boxes that came in. However, I think this box was one of my favorites in July, Blush Mystery Beauty Box. This was my first Blush Mystery Boxes that I have received, and it did not disappoint. I cannot wait to share it with you.

Emani Organic Lip Shine (Full Size)

This is a perfect pink lip gloss. It went on nicely and really did look great on. Value is $16.

Deborah Lippmann 3D Holigraphic Luxurious Nail Color in Ray of Light-(Full Size)

This was my first ever Deborah Lippmann nail polish, and I loved it. I could have went with a different color, but I love the electric prismatic effect. Value is $19.

Lumene Vitamine C Pure Radiance 24h Lotion (Full Size)

What I appreciate about this facial lotion is that it not only does it moisturize, but it also detoxifies and mattifies the skin. I cannot wait to give this a try. Value is $20.

Philip B. Self Adjusting Hair Spray (Full Size)

I received some Philip B products in my June Glossybox, and I am excited to try another product. This hair spray is said to adjust according to your firming needs. Value $22

Hydroxatone AM/PM Anti-Wrinkle Complex (Full Size)

Anything to keep me looking young is a good thing in my book. This is said to help protect and fight visible signs of aging. Value is $50.

Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare Alpha Beta Glow Pad Anti-Aging Exfoliating Self-Tanner

Wow these just sound amazing. Not only will they help put a glow on my face, but it also helps exfoliate, minimize pores, and help existing sunspots on face! I have heard they are as good as they sound, so I cannot wait to try them out. Value is $18.

BioElements Quick Refiner

This helps skin to look younger. As you have read above I love trying products that do just that. Value is $4

Airbrush Eye Refining Treatment

This is said to get rid of puffiness almost immediately, as well as smooth and reduce fine lines! This was a bonus gift from blush, and I am excited to try it out. A full size Airbrush Eye Refining Treatment cost $68.

Raw Color Eye Brush- Extra Bonus Gift

I Can never have too many eye brushes, and love when they are included in any subscription I get. Great bonus gift item from blush!

TICKLED PINK OPINION:  This blush Mystery Beauty Box was just spectacular. Out of the 9 items in my blush Mystery Box, 6 of them were full sized.  This beauty box cost around $25, and the total value of the items received was over$150. I most certainly am very happy that I subscribed to blush Mystery beauty box, and cannot wait to see future blush Mystery Beauty Boxes!

I was contacted a little while ago to try out Blush Box, and, of course, I was super excited. I actually have been wanting to try out the Blush Box subscription for a while now. And Yes, and definitely, as you will see, it definitely will heated up anyone's summer for sure

What is  Blush Box?

Luna White Chocolate Macadamia Mini Bar

This is a great beach bag treat, while keeping many gals snacking low calorie still. This mini bar was delish, and I definitely appreciate Blush Box keeping my calorie and heath in mind when they included a little snack!

Luna Vanilla Almond Lip Balm

This smells like a nice summery day at the beach, if you could put it in a smell. Love that this lip balm is also made out of organic ingredients.

Nicaraguan Handmade Bracelet by Handcrafted Hope

I love this bracelet, but what I love more about this bracelet that was included in the Blush Box is where it came from.  Blush Box actively supports companies for women, and have partnered up with Handcrafted Hope to help support the women of “La Chureca, Nicaragua by including a piece of their jewelry in each of the Summer Blush Boxes.  This bracelet was actually handcrafted by the “La Cureca” women. This helps bring sustainable income to this part of the world.  The bracelet represents Hope for a better future. Beautiful!

Beaute Classic Personal Massager by B Swish

LA- based B Swish has made a very sleek and sophisticated line of massagers, and one was included in this quarter’s Blush Box. It definitely is something to heat up anyone’s summer, fall, winter or spring! And, the color of this little massager matched the little outfit I will show you below. Great coordination on Blush Box part, and did not go unnoticed by me.

Mad Mac Turquiose Trio Scoop- Neck Camisole, Low-Rise Thong and Headband

This teal and yellow certainly is a great summery color. I love how bold and bright it is.  These great summer skivvies are super fashionable, yet very fun and flirty. Mad Mac also included the cute headband, which I love. Great little Trio in the summer Blush Box.  I would most definitely buy something like this on my own, so I was happy to see it in the summer Blush Box. And, if I wanted I could wear the camisole under a blazer, which makes it very versatile, and a plus in my book.

Sliquid Sea & H20 Natural Lubricant

This Sliquid line is the only glycerin and paraben free line on the market.  This brand is good for any skin type, 100% Vegan friendly, water soluble, and easy to clean up.

Booty Parlor Flirty Little Secret Firming Body Bronzer

Even though it is the summer this bronzer will come in handy. The added firming agent is just an added plus! Very pretty on the skin and perfect for summer.

TICKLED PINK OPINION:  I really think this box is very chic and sophisticated, and yet very fun as well. I was not disappointed at all the quality of the items nor in the items themselves. Additionally, I think that the box is definitely worth it. I do not think you could buy all this for less than $99. Overall, I am very pleased with the summer Blush Box, and only wish Blush Box were available more often. Quarterly boxes always are some of the best since they really can take the time to make the boxes something special. I also think this is a great box to gift to a soon to be bride. I would love to get a box like this at a bridal shower. Blush Box also has more specific boxes that sound fantastic. Here are some of the themes:

Julep Secret Store Golden Mystery Box Review

I wanted to share my Julep Secret Store Golden Mystery Box since it came so quickly. I only ordered it two days ago, and it came today. I was super impressed with the shipping this go around.  I have not even shared my regular or add-ons yet, but I was too excited to not share this with everyone. 

This Julep Golden Mystery Box was only available to Julep Mavens that purchased the August Box in the Secret Store, and was guaranteed to include at least $100-$200 worth of Julep products.

4 Julep Maven Polishes- $11.20 (each. Maven price)

Coco, January, Alfre and Fina. These were all duplicates for me, but I guess I could gift them out or keep them around if I need extra. I really do love January, and I think that was one of the first colors I ever received from Julep.


Julep Everyday SPF Hand Creme- $12.99

I do not have this hand creme yet, and like this addition to my Golden Box. 


Oxygen Nail Treatment- $14.90

This is a great product from Julep, as I was in the need of another Oxygen Nail Treatment. So, I was really happy to see this included in this Mystery Box. 


Belina Hair Ties- $9-10

I love the colors of these hair ties, and always love getting some new twist ties. I was not sure if these would be worth more than the $9 price of the ones on the Julep site because they are from Belina. Belina has awesome jewelry, but I could not find any hair ties


Dolles Salt Water Taffy- $1

This was in the July box. Not really sure if I could put a price on the candy, but I gave it around $1.00. These are good salt water Taffy though. 


Overall, what did I think of the Julep Golden Mystery Box? Well,  for the amount I paid for this Golden Box I got enough product to be happy with the box. However, I was a little disappointed because Julep guaranteed that there would be at least $100 worth of product and there was only around $83 worth of products in the box. And I was hesitant to buy this mystery box in the first place because I have not really been 100% happy with my mystery boxes from Julep lately. All in all it is not a total let down, but not what I really was expecting from Julep.  I may hold off on Mystery boxes from Julep moving forward, but we will see.

New Subscription Zockster Reviewed- "Amazing Socks. Delivered"

It is Zockster sock time! Whoo hoo. Not just any socks but bamboo socks. Yes ladies and gentlemen, they are socks made out of… Bamboo. Isn’t that just crazy? Well these bamboo socks came from the new subscription Zockster. When I was offered the opportunity to try out Zockter I jumped on it. We love new socks in my household.

Zockster Socks

White Ankle Socks and Black Dress Socks

These are the socks that I got in my Zockster pack. What makes socks amazing? Well, Zockster makes these socks from bamboo. Who knew that bamboo could be made into socks. That is just amazing to me. However, Bamboo is a sustainable, moisture wicking material that feels like cashmere on your feet.  Zockster socks take 1/10 the water to make than your typical cotton sock. Zockster really does not like wasting water. 

TICKLED PINK OPINION: Yes, these socks are indeed as soft as Zockster says. In fact, these socks have amazed me. I cannot believe that bamboo could be used to make socks,  and they are super comfortable. Zockster is making sock buying not only convenient and affordable, but also more eco-friendly. I am loving this subscription already. And I just love the subscription name Zockster; So fun and not easily forgotten, just like their socks.
