Julep Maven November Right at Home Collection Review

I still have some October boxes to review on here, but I just could not wait to share the November Julep Collection.

What is Julep?

If you have never heard of Julep, well it just one of the subscriptions you have to know about. Each month Julep reveals a new nail polish collection, with beauty/skin or hair items that are revealed as well. After taking a Style Profile quiz recommendations are made on what colors would best fit you. You can opt to buy the collection that fits your style, opt to pick a different style or buy the whole collection.  The monthly cost is $19.99 per month.

November Julep Right at Home Collection
This month Julep featured everything lips. Well, not to include the polishes, which were beautiful as always. The polish colors were perfect for fall. Additionally, Julep not only let you pick out the full collection of all the lip glosses, The Ultimate, but you also could also pick to just get all the polishes and one of the lip glosses you liked best. I decided that I would get the Right at Home full collection with Posh. The total cost was about $60 (I got my add on for 750 Jules, $4.99).

The Right at Home Collection Polishes

Aisha – Boho Glam: Wildberry purple crème
Brielle – Bombshell: Deep autumn orange crème Alexandra – Boho Glam: Blonde crème

Nic – Bombshell: Black crimson crème
Sheila – Classic with a Twist: Cherry pie red crème
Cynthia – Classic with a Twist: Desert sand Microglitter

Chloe – It Girl: Warm cocoa frost
Lola – It Girl: Moonlit night blue satin
Winter – It Girl: Lighty grey cloud crème

Julep Lip Gloss in  Posh
Sheer black honey gloss. I love lip gloss, and really wish I would have gone for the full collection of glosses now. This goes on great, and looks fantastic on top of many of my lipsticks for fall.

Blank Canvas Plumping Lip Primer
A multi-tasking marvel that plumps, moisturizes, and preps lips for flawless color application. The tingle tells you it’s working. The ongoing hydration and smoothing tell you it’s still working. Who does not lip plump lips. I have used lip primer before, and am excited to give Julep brand a spin.

Add-On Polish- Autumn
Burnt red-orange multidimensional glitter top coat. This was my favorite out of all the colors, even the regular Right at Home Collection. Such a great top coat for Thanksgiving and Christmas time.

Luxe Repair Skin Serum Sample
This is a sample of the new serum that has age defying, antioxidant-rich blends, that hydrates and moisturizes. Since Julep also gave a 30% discount, I may have to pick some up.

TICKLED PINK OPINION
I always love Julep, and cannot rave enough about each and every one of their collections. The bad part is that I love all their polishes, and really have loved all their new products, so I am always going for the full collection. I am glad they only come out once a month, haha. I already am anticipating another great collection in December. I mean look at some of the great holiday collections that were featured in the pamphlet they sent out with their November Julep Maven box. I want it all.

October Julep Maven The Rebel Collection Review

It is Julep time. I had this box right at the beginning of October, but the post got postponed due to the delay in one of the items. However, now that I have it I can post away.

What is the Julep Maven Subscription?

If you have never heard of Julep, well it just one of the subscriptions you have to know about. October The Rebel Set

This month I really liked the colors and I liked the additional products so I decided to Upgrade to the full Rebel Set (a $180 value) to get all nine NEW October colors, plus Kajal Eye Glider & Sharpener and Mask Noir. The full set is an additional $35.
The Julep MavenRebel Set Collection

Dahlia – Boho Glam: Goldenrod microglitter
Stevie – Boho Glam: Concrete gray frost
Valerie – Bombshell: Teal with iridescent microglitter
Cleopatra – Bombshell: Black latex crème (*no latex in formula)
Winona – Classic with a Twist: Buff greige crème
Anisa – Classic with a Twist: Deep burgundy crème
Kendra – It Girl: Army green frost
Ciara – It Girl: Vampy magenta with teal microglitter
Missy – It Girl: Titanium metallic

Kajal Eye Glider & Sharpener

I really liked this eye pencil. It went on nice and smooth and stayed on all day long. What I really liked is that the pencil was both black and brown. I have only used the black so far,  but I am sure I will take advantage of the dark brown as well. Including an eye sharpener was a nice touch, and complemented the eye pencil perfect.

Mask Noir

This was not included in my first shipment of my Julep Maven Box, but Julep quickly got on top of it, and I received the next week. This is a peel off mask that takes away the dead skin cell and debris, and  is said to leave the skin smoother, brighter and moisturized. I am very excited to try this out. I am trying to find the time to actually use this as it says to leave it on for 15-20 minutes. It is funny how even though that is a short amount of time, but it is really to find that time to sit with a mask on. Haha.

Bonus- Candy Corn

Not the biggest fan of candy corn, but A is, so these went to him.

TICKLED PINK OPINION: I always love getting the Julep Maven boxes each month, and always enjoy indulging and getting the full collection. I do not get the full collection each month, only on special occasions. This month I was really pumped that they had some makeup and skin care items, and I loved the colors, so it worked out perfectly. I cannot wait to see what is in store for November.

September Julep Maven Cityscape Box Review and Promo Code

Julep Maven Box Time! This month I went for the Modern Beauty box, because as much as I loved the colors, I cut back on the subscription costs this month. I did, however, get some add-ons.  I had some Jules though, so I only had to pay $10. Great deal huh!

September Julep
Cityscape Collection

This month Julep’s collection was just great. Deeper colors getting ready for the colder month. The great part of the September collection, in my opinion, were the items that were not nail care related.  So I opted for the Modern Beauty Box, and some add-ons.

Cityscape Modern Beauty Box
with Add-Ons

Blank Canvas Mattifying Face Primer

You cannot even buy this right now on the Julep website, and I am so glad that I went for the Modern Beauty Box, and got this as part of my monthly Maven box. This is a great face primer. It really does lock in moisture, but also helps fill in the appearance of lines and wrinkles to make a great surface for makeup application. I have been wearing it under my makeup every day since I got, and it works wonderfully. And, a little goes a long way, so this will last awhile.

Bare Face Cleansing Oil

I really was excited about this cleansing oil, because it was a cleanser that sounded like it really would get all the makeup off my face, rather than having raccoon eyes after I wash. This cleanser not only smells great, and leaves your skin feeling nice and clean, but it also has natural oils that help the skin with wrinkles, hydration, and also moisturizes.

Bonus- One Step Polish Remover Pad

Add- On Polishes from Cityscape Collection

They changed the look of the shipping packaging for the polishes, and I think it looks very classy and professional. I also think this new packaging will keep for any breakages in the future.

Candace- (It Girl Style) A golden chocolate microglitter. Again, I really like the golden glitter in this color. Gold is just a great color!

Karmen- (Bombshell Style) A great golden crimson Microglitter.  I just love the gold flecks with the deep crimson color.

Josephine-(It Girl Style) A deep teal grey crème color. I think this will such a great color for the colder months. Cannot wait to try it out.

TICKLED PINK OPINION: I just really love Julep. What I have been liking about the subscription lately is that they really are branching out and trying new things. Like, the Primer and Face Cleanser this month.  I just really have like each and every item from Julep, from the polishes, face cleansers, dry hair shampoo, and now my favorite the face primer. I cannot wait to see more from Julep, and get excited each month to see their next collection.

Julep Maven August Modern Beauty Box and Add Ons

Julep Maven August Box Time, plus my add ons. The theme for August was Garden Party. While I really did love some of the colors in the collection, this month I opted for Modern Beauty, and some add on polishes.

If you have never heard about Julep I will have some more information at the end of this post, and a Promo Code for a free box.

August Modern Beauty Box

This month Julep turned two and celebrated with this amazing looking box. I really would be happy if they stuck with this look, as it is so bright and cheerful!

Julep Double Step Foot Treatment and Friction Stick

I used this right away and it smells so fresh and minty. This is perfect for the summer months, since I have been wearing flip flops all the time.

Julep Moisture Mask Trio

Julep really focused on getting your all moisturized this month, which I love since summer really dries my feet and hands up. This trio came with nail, hands, and feet treatments. I cannot wait to have a me day and try these out soon.

Forget-Me- Not Seeds

These were a special thank you gift from Julep to celebrate their 2nd birthday!

The Champagne Trio

This was an August add on, but it was by far my favorite thing I received in August from Julep. The colors are just beautiful: Amity, which means friendship; Clio, which means celebration; and Reiko, which means gratitude.

Add On Polishes- Fiore and Lois

These were to two polishes that I liked the best in the August collection. Fiore is an espresso brown crème’ color, that I thought would be perfect for winter time. And then Lois, which is a dusty rose frost color, which I thought would be perfect for an upcoming wedding I am going to.

TICKLED PINK OPINION:  I always love my Julep Maven boxes, and even though I opted out of the full Garden Party Collection, I loved the products and add-ons that I received just the same. I especially love the Champagne collection, and cannot wait to show the polish off.

PROMO: If you are interested in becoming a Julep Maven you can check out previous month boxes HERE or HERE. And if you would like to sign up, and get your first box for FREE using Promo Code FREEBOX, you can do so HERE.

Julep Secret Store Golden Mystery Box Review

I wanted to share my Julep Secret Store Golden Mystery Box since it came so quickly. I only ordered it two days ago, and it came today. I was super impressed with the shipping this go around.  I have not even shared my regular or add-ons yet, but I was too excited to not share this with everyone.

This Julep Golden Mystery Box was only available to Julep Mavens that purchased the August Box in the Secret Store, and was guaranteed to include at least $100-$200 worth of Julep products.

Julep Golden Mystery Box
(Version 2)

4 Julep Maven Polishes- $11.20 (each. Maven price)

Coco, January, Alfre and Fina. These were all duplicates for me, but I guess I could gift them out or keep them around if I need extra. I really do love January, and I think that was one of the first colors I ever received from Julep.

Julep Everyday SPF Hand Creme- $12.99

I do not have this hand creme yet, and like this addition to my Golden Box.

Oxygen Nail Treatment- $14.90

This is a great product from Julep, as I was in the need of another Oxygen Nail Treatment. So, I was really happy to see this included in this Mystery Box.

Belina Hair Ties- $9-10

I love the colors of these hair ties, and always love getting some new twist ties. I was not sure if these would be worth more than the $9 price of the ones on the Julep site because they are from Belina. Belina has awesome jewelry, but I could not find any hair ties

Dolles Salt Water Taffy- $1

This was in the July box. Not really sure if I could put a price on the candy, but I gave it around $1.00. These are good salt water Taffy though.

Overall, what did I think of the Julep Golden Mystery Box? Well,  for the amount I paid for this Golden Box I got enough product to be happy with the box. However, I was a little disappointed because Julep guaranteed that there would be at least $100 worth of product and there was only around $83 worth of products in the box. And I was hesitant to buy this mystery box in the first place because I have not really been 100% happy with my mystery boxes from Julep lately. All in all it is not a total let down, but not what I really was expecting from Julep.  I may hold off on Mystery boxes from Julep moving forward, but we will see.

What did you think of Julep Golden Mystery Box? And, what was included in your box?

Until next time…
