Ipsy Glam Bag October "The Art of Beauty" Review

Yay it is Ipsy time! I always enjoy getting my Ipsy Glam Bag each month, and October’s Glam Bag is just exciting as it is each month.  Getting this little pink shipping package, usually means its Ipsy time.

What is IPSY Glam Bag?

Ipsy is a monthly beauty subscription that sends out the latest and greatest beauty items to your door every month. And not only do you get to try some great beauty products, but it all comes in a handy makeup bag each month.

Cost: $10 per month

OCTOBER IPSY
THE ART OF BEAUTY BOX

Ipsy Glam Bag
I always like getting makeup bags with the Ipsy Glam Bag each month. For October the bag was okay. I am not the biggest fan of writing on items that I buy, but I am not complaining when it comes to a makeup bag.

Nourish Organic Coconut & Argan Oil  Lotion
Love lotion that reminds me of being on a sandy warm beach. This lotion smells great, and it really does work great. This, like it says, does absorb quickly and leaves hands feeling nourished without a greasy feel afterward. This went to use right away.

Zoya Nail Lacquer
This was a full size polish in this months bag. I always love getting nail polish. I think I might have this color already, but I like it a lot. This is a great addition to this month’s bag.

Ole Henriksen Truth SerumCollagen Booster
This is used on the face and the neck to help suppost collagen production, brighten skin and minimize fine lines. I tried it this morning and it feels like it was working instantly.  It did not leave skin feeling greasy either, so thats great.

Ofra Sultry Lipgloss and Plumper
This lipgloss is pretty thick when I first put it on, but a little goes a long way. What is great about this lipgloss is that it not only hydrates the lips, but also helps make them look fuller. The color is great as well

Sexy Hair  Spray Clay
I was super excited to see this in my Ipsy Glam Bag this month. I have been super impressed with Sexy Hair in the past, and am excited to try this texturizing hair spray. Another great item in this month’s bag.

TICKLED PINK OPINION
Never disappointed in Ipsy Glam Bag, and I am certainly not disappointed in the bag this month either. This month the bag included products that I am certain I will use right away. For the cost of only $10 per month, the Glam Bag this month far exceeded the subscription cost. The Ipsy Glam Bag always is exciting each month, and always leaves me excited for the next month.

September "Classic Beauty" Ipsy Glam Bag Review

Ipsy Glam Bag is a beauty bag that I really get excited to see each month. That bright pink shipping bag just brightens up my day. This month it came a little later than expected, but that’s okay because I really loved September’s Ipsy Glam Bag Picks.

What is Ipsy?
Ipsy is a monthly beauty subscription that sends out the latest and greatest beauty items to your door every month. And not only do you get to try some great beauty products, but it all comes in a handy makeup bag each month.

Cost: $10 per month

September Classic Beauty Glam Bag

This month Ipsy focused on “Classic Beauty”. From red lips to big bold lashes, the products in this month’s glam bag will get you some great looks just like Marilyn Monroe to Mona Lisa, who are both classic beauties.

butter London Nail Lacquer in LA Moss

This is a deep crimson red wine color, and was seen during this year NY Fashion week. This is a gorgeous color and a perfect warm color for fall.

Elizabeth Mott It’s So Big Volumizing Mascara

I never complain when I get mascara in a beauty bag or box. I use mascara every day, and cannot go without it, so I was excited to see this in September’s Ipsy Glam Bag.

NYX Single Eye Shadow in Morocco

NYX shadows always pack a punch. They are very highly pigmented, but are very easy to blend. Morocco, is a deep violet color, but looks to have hints of blue. This is very pretty, and while I do not use blue shadow too often, I will have to play around with the color to see if I can make it work for me.

Starlooks Obsidian Kohl Eye Pencil

Like mascara, I also cannot have enough eye liners around. This is an ultra-soft  liner, that is said to glide right on. I cannot wait to try it.

Cailyn Cosmetics Tinted Lip Balm in Big Apple

I have used Cailyn products before, and was super excited to get another one of their great products. This long lasting lip balm is gorgeous. I love the bold red color! It will look perfect to top of a bold look for work or out on the town.

Classic Beauty Glam Bag

This has to be my favorite bag I have received from Ipsy!

TICKLED PINK OPINION:   This month’s Ipsy bag has to be one of my favorites. Each product included in this Glam Bag will work together perfectly for a great bold fall look. I just love the colors as well. I cannot believe that this bag was only $10, wow. Just the butter Nail lacquer alone covers the cost of the Ipsy Glam Bag(butter Nail polish is $15 online). If I were to recommend a beauty bag that is well worth the cost and includes quality products consistently, it would have to be Ipsy Glam Bag. Another great month!

August Ipsy Glam Bag- Glamour Academy Review

It is Ipsy time again. Ipsy still is up there as one of the best beauty subscriptions out there right now. This month Ipsy’s theme for their Glam Bag was Glamour Academy. And , like always, I was happy with each and every item that I received.

What is Ipsy Glam Bag?

If you have not heard of Ipsy, here is a little information.  Ipsy is a monthly beauty subscription that sends out the latest and greatest beauty items to your door every month, at the low cost of only $10 per month. And not only do you get to try some great beauty products, but it all comes in a handy makeup bag each month.

August Glamour Academy
Ipsy Glam Bag

The Glamour Academy Makeup Bag

Not 100% in love with this bag, as I tend to go for more solid color bags with no writing or logos. This won’t go to waste though, I am sure there is something I can do with it.

Urban Decay Revolution Lipstick in 69

This is just my style of lipstick, and I really enjoy Urban Decay products. This lipstick is Very highly pigmented and super and smooth when put on.

Pixi Beauty Lash Booster Mascara in Blackest Black

I really do love getting mascara in any subscription bag/box. You cannot have too many spare mascaras around, since it is important to change out mascaras often. And this little one fits perfect in my eye makeup bag.

Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer

This is amazing. I have tried Smashbox primers a couple of times, and have been wanting to purchase this one in particular for a while, just never have gotten around to it. I am so happy that this was in August Ipsy Glam Bag. Seriously, this primer is the best. It leaves your skin perfectly ready for foundation, without the oily feeling that other primers leave.

Mica Beauty Eye Shadow in Bronze

I have tried the Mica Beauty brand before, and it is good. I am not 100% into loose eye shadows, but I love the color, so I am sure I will give it a try.

Michael Todd Pumpkin Nutrient-Rich Mask

Love getting skin/face regimented products.  This will go directly into my cabinet where I keep all my products for morning and night face regiment, and I cannot wait to give it a try.

TICKLED PINK OPINION:  I really do love that Ipsy sends ian array of beauty products in their monthly glam bags.  All the products included in the glam bag would be enough to pull off a fab look (I would have to add in a foundation however). I cannot say enough that Ipsy is truly one of the better beauty subscriptions out there for the money. I mean all of these beauty products and the makeup bag for $10. What a great deal. And like always the products are top-notch.  Again, Ipsy is leaving me excited for September already.

July Ipsy Glam Bag- Beach Beauty Review

I was really excited about this month’s Ipsy Glam Bag. Who am I kidding though, I am always excited to see what Ipsy has up their sleeves, and I always love it.  For July, as always, Ipsy Glam Bag did not disappoint. I actually liked July’s Glam Bag better than June.

What is Ipsy?
Ipsy is a monthly beauty subscription that sends out the latest and greatest beauty items to your door every month, at the low cost of only $10 per month. And not only do you get to try some great beauty products, but it all comes in a handy makeup bag each month.

July Ipsy Glam Bag

This month Ipsy Glam Bag's theme was Beach Beauty. Ipsy brought out great products that were made for a summery days, and I have to say there were some great picks this month.

The Beach Beauty Glam  Bag

bh cosmetics California Collection

This BH Cosmetics makeup palette includes a shade from each of the California Collection palettes: Hollywood, San Francisco, and Malibu.  This is a new magnetic paper palette and is loaded with three beautiful colors. I love eye shadow pallets and am excited especially to give the coppery gold colors of San Francisco and Malibu a try.

Big Sexy Hair Weather Proof Humidity Resistant Spray

I really like Big Sexy Hair Products. I already tried out this Humidity Resistence Spray and I really like it. I have somewhat frizzy hair, and this really helped in the hot weather.

Pop Pouty Pop Crayon in Coral Crush

Love Lip Crayons. I received a Pop Pouty Crayon in another beauty box, and I really liked the look and feel on my lips. This Coral color I like even better than the other color I received, so I am sure I will equally enjoy this one that I received in my Ipsy Glam Bag.

 Coola Mineral Sunscreen/Moisturizer

It is still pretty warm over here in Seattle. It actually is the hottest around here in September, so this will come in handy throughout the next couple months. As I have gotten older I have grown to appreciate moisturizers and sunscreens for the face. I have gotten a few Coola samples this summer, and I am liking the protection it gives to my skin so far.

Derma-e Microdermebrasion Scrub

I always enjoy getting facial cleansers in my beauty boxes. This microdermabrasion scrub sounds amazing. It is said to Improve the appearance of your skin, buffs away dull surface cells, diminshes the appearance of wrinkles and acne scars, and absorbs excess skin oils with an exclusive crystal blend including Dead Sea Salt and Volcanic Sand. I cannot wait to give it a try. Sounds Fantastic.

Nichole by OPI Selena Gomez Pretty in Plum Nail Lacquer

I received this fantastic Nail Lacquer for referring my wonderful readers to Ipsy Glam Bag.  I am loving this metallic Plum/Fushcia color. Any nail polish in my book is a great addition to any beauty box or bag.

TICKLED PINK OPINION:   Always enjoy my monthly Ipsy Glam Bag, and really think it is one of the best beauty subscriptions out there right now. For only $10 per month, you get some great quality products, and rather than a throw away box, you get a great makeup bag. If you are like me, I go though makeup bags like crazy, so the Ipsy Glam Bags come in handy.

If you would like to see past month’s Ipsy Glam Bags you can see HERE or HERE.  And if you would like to sign up for the amazing Ipsy Glam Bag you can sign up HERE.

Ipsy Glam Bag- On the Wild Side June Review

I wanted to quickly take the time to share my Ipsy Glam Bag with you today. The bright pink package that lights up me and my mailbox!  Usually Ipsy comes a little faster than it did  this month, but at least I got it!

What is IPSY Glam Bag?
Ipsy is a beauty box subscription that sends out to their subscribers great deluxe and full size beauty products to try out.  This is a great way to try out new beauty products!

This month Ipsy Glam Bag's theme was On the Wild Side, and I think the theme definitely shined through in the products.

June  On the Wild Side

The Bag

This month’s glam bag is by far one of my favorite!

Starlook Lip Pencil in Tipsy

It is unbelievable that out of all beauty subscriptions that I have subscribed to that I have not once received a lip liner pencil. Crazy I know. This Starlook lip pencil in Tipsy is a very lite color, so I am not sure how well it will look on my lips, but I have heard good things about Starlook, and I am very excited to try this out.

Caitlyn Cosmetics Lin-Fix Gel Eyeliner with Brush

This looks like a great eye liner, however, I have not used purple eye liner before. It is pretty dark, so I think I could swing it. I guess I will give this a try and see.

J. Cates Sparkling Cream  Palette

These are very glittery and are a little showy for me, and possibly for someone a little younger. I still love the colors though, and know I can get some use out of them somehow.

NYX Cream Blush

This a very pretty color, and will work well to give me a natural look. Have been getting into cream blushes a little more, so this will be a nice addition to my makeup collection.

Freeman Beauty Psssst!  Dry Shampoo

I am so thankful they have come out with dry shampoo, it is great on those mornings that you accidentally (haha) have slept in, and have to run out the door with one shoe on and one shoe off in order to get to work. I am hopeful this Freeman Beauty Dry Shampoo is a good one.

TICKLED PINK OPINION:  I always enjoy Ipsy, and while this might not be my favorite month when it comes to products, Ipsy always provides you with way more than what the bag actually costs, and with quality/ full-size products.  Additionally, they give me the opportunity to try products that I would not normally buy.

COST: $10 per month
