What to Choose? Stitch Fix #10 Review

I am first going to start by saying I absolutely love Stitch Fix, I love how easy and convenient it is, and I really just love getting clothes in general.  I got my 10th fix a couple weeks ago, and my 11th is in route to me now. So, before I get the next fix I thought I would share my 10th Stitch Fix box first.  However, now that I told you I still love Stitch Fix, I have to tell you that this was not my favorite fix, but you win some and well… some you don't.

Stitch Fix #10

Like I said, this was not my favorite fix picked out for me. Other fixes have been awesome.  I know I did not leave my stylist any notes this time, but I do have a pretty good Pinterest board. So, I am not sure if they pick out clothing based on that or not.  I may have to work on my notes to my stylist next time. 

41 Hawthorne Bixby Line Printed 3/4 Sleeve Top$38

This was a great top. I loved the pattern, and the material that it was made out of. I always am looking for a great top that would be good for work or equally good being worn on a casual weekend. The only thing I was not sure about was the fit. I didn’t think it looked quite as good as it should. So, on to the next….

Fun2Fun Rhiannon Pleat Detail Sleeveless Blouse $48

Sorry about the Picture Quality, and the writing on the mirror. We still are celebrating Seahawks win, as the mirror still says "Beast Mode”!

This blouse was a good pick for me for a work shirt; With a pencil skirt it would look great. In my picture I was just wearing it with black leggings, and it didn't look too great, but tucked into a skirt I am sure it would look much better. However, the color was just not doing it for me for some reason, neither were the pleats. So on to the next…

Under Skies Clayton Split-Neck Short Sleeve Blouse $58

Typically this kind of blouse, that is loose and would go perfect with a pair of black leggings, would be perfect for me. And, when I first took a look at this shirt I thought it was a great color, and I was really excited to try it on. However, when I tried it on, the first thing I thought is that I looked like I was getting ready to go bowling. Yes, a bowling shirt. Well, that was a no go for me. Bummer…. and to the next. 

Fate Garvey Tribal Print Open Front Cardigan $68

As you can see I was really contemplating this sweater. I think I tried in on like, at least, 6-7 times. I am  the biggest fan tribal print and nice cozy sweaters. So, when you put tribal print and cozy sweater together thats it for me.  I really loved this pick, and after months of asking for tribal print sweaters in my Stitch Fix boxes I finally got them in two fixes in a row. And now for the sad news,  I love tribal sweaters so much I have way too many now. I could not justify getting another one. Oh Stitch Fix, if you only sent this months ago! Okay and now for the last item…

Aryeh Judith Abstract Stiped Fit & Flare Dress $48

Again, sorry about the mirror and the picture quality. The pictures were taken in two sessions, as you can tell, as some look okay and some are like this, haha!

When I first saw this dress I was not too sure about the pattern. I definitely would have never picked out something like this on my own. However, after trying it on, it really grew on me. The material of the dress is super soft, and it has pockets. I just adore pockets in dresses. With a blazer or cardigan, it would be a perfect dress for work.  So, I finally had a winner! 

TICKLED PINK OPINION

Well, there were a couple winners out of this 10th Stitch Fix. As you probably could tell I only kept the Judith Abstract Dress, and have already worn it. If the clothing picks could have been more in sync with my style I may have purchased more, but that is okay. I guess after looking at some other subscribers boxes for the month of February, I was a little bummed with some of my items, as I really liked some other’s fixes a lot.  By no means does this mean that I giving up on Stitch Fix though. I really love Stitch Fix, and get super excited to get my fix each month. And as I type this now my 11th fix is on it’s way to me. YAY!

Stitch Fix Box #7

This time around I gave a little more input into what I was looking for in my fix: pants and clothes, of course, that work for worktime and play. My new stylist, Ishara, did a great job of trying to give me what I am looking for.  I just want to say sorry about the pictures real fast before I start my post. I got a new camera, and I am still trying to figure it all out.

Kensie Johnny Skinny Jeans- $88

These were super cozy and fit perfectly around the legs and on the waist, but I have pretty short legs, so they were a little long. Nothing that a little hemming couldn’t help.  I love that these were a dark jean as well. Dark jeans are my favorite. I, unfortunately, did not keep these though because of the cost, and that I would have to get them hemmed. I know if may sound weird to some, but I have never spent more than, like, $60 or so on a pair of jeans.

Dylan and Rose Madeline Metallic Dot Belted Dress $58

This dress was very pretty. I loved the gold dot embellishments on the dress. This dress is black by the way. The picture does not show the color at all. Additionally, the dress had pockets and was super comfy. The only thing I was not sure about, was I think it looked a little too boxy on me.  Not very flattering. So I decided to let it go back.

Renee C Rossi Polka Dot Prink Neck-Tie Blouse -$48

This blouse was perfectly my style, especially for work. And I loved that I could also wear this with jeans just as much as I could wear it with a pencil skirt or slacks, and it would look great all around. The only thing that made me hesitate about this blouse, was that I already have so many black and white polka dot shirts. I actually got one in one of my first Stitch Fix boxes. So I decided to send this one back, even though it was really cute.

41 Hawthorne Bixby Print ¾ Sleeve Blouse -$48

Another top pick for me. It was either this shirt or another dress, below. It looked great with jeans, I was wearing them with the Kensie jeans. I also think this would look great with black leggings or a black pencil skirt. A versatile piece always stands out in my mind. I, however, decided to go for the dress instead.

Sweet Rain Issac Floral Pint Belted Dress- $48

I really love a sheer pretty floral print on clothing, and I do not have a dress or shirt like this.  I really would have loved to wear this dress this summer, but I think with a pair of tights and a sweater or jean jacket, it will work perfect for the fall weather.  

TICKLED PINK OPINION

I  can  never complain about having a personal stylist send me personally picked out clothing to try at home. I love it! I wish I could get Stitch Fix more often to be honest. I always try to limited myself on what I keep from each fix. This month I picked out the Sweet Rain dress, which after my $20 credit came out to be $28. If I did keep a whole fix it would have to included pieces I really loved, and then I would consider keeping it all. I, however, have not received a Fix yet that I have  liked 5 out of 5. I again will make sure that I put in detailed notes for the Stylist for the next fix. I hope for some nice cold weather clothing, a nice Aztec Drape Cardigan sounds perfect!

So I have been slacking with my boxes like Stitch Fix and RocksBox, since I can schedule them as I like. But, I have had this Stitch Fix on my to-do list for a  while now, and since I now have another Fix on it’s way I thought I should hurry up and share this #5 Stitch Fix before #6 comes. So here goes...

Stitch Fix Box #5

My stylist Michelle has picked out some great pieces, and while some just did not fit me as well, others were pretty good. I think with some more feedback from me, I will start to get pieces I would actually keep.

DownEast Banks Sheer Dot Peter Pan Collar Top -$28

When I first saw that it was a Peter Pan Collar Top, I was not sure about this shirt, but after trying it on I changed my mind. I really love more sheer flowy feeling tops that I can easily pair with jeans or wear with a pencil skirt for work. I would have loved this shirt more if it were a different color.  But, overall, I think it looked okay.  

Mystree Cairo Crochet Detail Sheer Back Top- $35

Crochet shirt, hmmm… not sure if that exactly is my style. When I think of a crochet shirt I think more Boho Style. However, I did try this on and think it was not too bad looking, maybe not on me in particular, but cute.  I just did not think it flattered me very well, so I decided it would have to be sent back.

Potter’s Pot Monique Double Breasted Trench Coat -$48

Again, a color issue with this coat. While I may have kept this coat,  I really did not like the color.  Additionally, when it comes to my style and coats I am very picky anyways. So, when I go out and get a coat on my own, is more professional and feminine. Not sure this trench coat was for me.

Oxmo Mea Center Ruffle Floral Button Tank-  $28

I really loved the color of this shirt, and really think it would work great as a layering piece for fall. It fit very well, and I really liked it. I know it was a little plainer in comparison with the other pieces in the box, but I really do love when I can wear a piece during the hot months, and then wear it as a layering piece for the cold months. As well as wearing it casual and then wearing it pumped up a little bit for work. Versatility is what I look for in clothing pieces.

Peppermint Blair Swiss Dot Dress –$48

This picture really does not give this dress justice. It really was a very pretty dress, and fit perfectly. This was one of the top pieces to keep.

TICKLED PINK OPINION:  I always love getting my Stitch Fix box, and know that whatever is included in the box will be fun to try on. I am very impressed with the Stitch Fix stylist, and really think she needs to go shopping with me all the time, because somehow they always seem to send me clothing that fits perfectly. I never have that luck when I go shopping on my own.  I only kept one piece from this box the Oxmo shirt, as I always try to use my $20 credit. I think it is waste if you do not use it towards a piece. However, the total value if a bought this whole lot would be $187, and with the discount from Stitch Fix it would only cost $125.25. A great deal. I actually have never had a box retail this low before. I like it though. I really am excited to see what is in my next Stitch Fix.  I do plan on writing some more comments in the future so the box that comes my way fits my style even better. Stitch Fix Review- 4th Fix

This is one of those clothing subscriptions that one can get addicted to very quickly. I limit myself to one a month, since the clothing that comes in each Stitch Fix box is just too cute, and I want too keep it all. This is my 4^th fix, and I am excited to share this one with you.

4^th Stitch Fix

This box was styled by Miranda, and I am quickly finding out that she definetly knows my style. I can tell from each fix that these stylist really do their research.

Sweet Rain Daliah Sheer Floral Cluster Blouse- $58

This was one of my favorites out of this fix. I love sheer blouses, and have really been into the floral print these last couple months. This says it was black, but I think this looked more navy blue.  I really liked that this could be paired with a pair of jeans, but also couple be worn with a skirt or nice pants for work. Like I have said before I really love versatile pieces.

Everly Renden ¾ Sleeve Zig Zag Blouse-$38

Love the style and print of this blouse. It fits perfectly, and the pictures really do not give this shirt justice.

Tulle Delanie Floral Print Self Tie Dress- $58

I kept a piece from Tulle in the last fix that came my way, and I really thought this dress was cute. However, I was not sure about how it fit on me. Paired up with a jean jacket, it would be a perfect weekend wear.

Pink Martini Mia Bird Print Front Pocket Tank-$48

I thought this was adorable, and loved the cut and style of this tank. However, I do not wear animals on my clothing too often. It was cute paired up with a boyfriend fit pair of jeans though.

Sweet Rain Tiffani Belted Racer Back Maxi Dress- $68

I am quickly seeing that I really do like the Sweet Rain brand. The top picks from this box were both from Sweet Rain. I really love the color of this dress, and that it is a maxi. I do not know what it is about a maxi, but I get so excited when I get one. This was a top contender to keep.

TICKLED PINK OPINION: Again Stitch Fix blew me out of the water. This 4^th fix was one of the best, and I wanted to keep them all, just this month I did not have the money to keep each and every piece. I always pick one piece so that I can put the $20 styling fee to good use. So I chose the Everly Zig Zag Top, so I was only charged an additional $18. I am loving Stitch Fix and cannot wait for my 5^th fix.

Stitch Fix Clothing Subscription- My 3rd Fix Reviewed

I thought I better hurry up and share with you my latest Stitch Fix, since I will be having another one come pretty soon. I love Stitch Fix, because it is a perfect way to pick out some new items for my wardrobe without having to make time to go to the mall or spend time, that I may or may not have, online shopping. Stitch Fix is a  perfect time saver. Additionally, having a personal stylist is pretty awesome!

My 3^rd Stitch Fix

C. Luce Lala Belted Chiffon Dress- $68

This was perfect for work. However, while it looked okay on, I just was not sure it looked good enough to purchase. It was pretty though, and the fabric was fantastic. Maybe just not for me.

Tulle Bettina Dot Print Sleeveless Dress- $48

Loved this one.  For some reason I love anything with dots on it. As you can tell, since the last item I kept from Stitch Fix was dotted as well (See HERE). This dress just called out “wear me”. It  was perfect for summertime, and could be dressed up with a cardigan for work. I love versatile pieces..

Under Skies Evanston Beaded Detail Dress- $58

 This dress was so comfortable, elegant, and beautiful. This dress was one of my top picks this month. The pink color was so bold and lovely, and the beaded detail on the sleeve just gave it that extra pizazz!

DownEast Tobi Cropped Lurex Cardigan- $38

This cardigan just was not me at all. I tried it on, and I just did not care for it. And the fabric was very itchy. It definitely went back to Stitch Fix.

Chris & Carol Lissey Back Bow Detail Striped Top- $38

Loved the color of this shirt. As I have said, I like versatile items, and this top would be perfect with a pencil skirt or a pair of jeans. Perfect for any occasion, is my kind of clothing piece.

TICKLED PINK OPINION: This 3^rd Stitch Fix was pretty good. It looks like I was assigned to a new stylist, Miranda,  and I could tell. It seemed the items were a tad different than my other 2 boxes from a different stylist.  I think I would give this box a B; there were some great pieces, some okay pieces, and just one item that I really did not care for. Overall though I really really like Stitch Fix, and think I will keep getting my monthly fixes. If you are wondering what I kept, I ended up using my $20 credit on the Tulle Bettina Dot Print Sleeveless Dress. Of course I picked the dotted piece again, haha.
