Bulu Box Review- Regular Box vs. Weight Loss Box and Promo Code

Bulu Box is a box that I look forward to each month, as I really like trying out new vitamin and supplement products before I buy them. This month I got both the regular Bulu Box and the weight loss Bulu Box.

I have tried these, and they are supposed to  suppress your appetite and also supports a positive attitude during the dieting, and the energy you need to get through the day. I usually take green tea pills for a source of energy and appetite control, these seem to have the same effect on me.

Both the products, Cocoa Via and the PowerBar Blend, I have received in other boxes. The Cocoa Via I just have not tried yet, but it is supposed to be a good source of protein.

The PowerBar energy I have tried and it tastes like apple sauce mixed with other fruits. These are okay to keep around for an on the go snack.

Shapeology Burn Blend; and

Twin Labs Power Fuel

 I have tried on Shapeology Burn Blend before, and am really pleased with the results.  I really think that it helps the metabolism speed up, and while I am not 100% if I am burning more calories with this supplement, I can only hope so since it speeds up the metabolism. This is on my “To Buy” List already.

The Power Fuel is going in the pile for my fiance’ to try. This supplement is good to give your muscles the boost they need to keep going during workouts.

Garden of Life Raw Organic Meal; and

The Garden of Life Raw Organic Meal, is like a meal replacement protein drink , and will be great in the mornings. I think these will be for me, since I do not think the other half will like the flavor we got. This came in both Bulu Boxes.

TICKLED PINK OPINION:         After receiving both Bulu Boxes, I am not sure which one I like more.  I think for this round I like the regular box better because it had the Shapeology Burn Blend, and that is one of my favorites from Bulu Box.  However, both Bulu Boxes provided great samples that I was happy with this go around. The only thing for the future that I would recommend Bulu Box improving on, is that I wish all samples were the same size as the Shapeology sample. It seems that a little sample like 2 supplement pills are not enough to actually tell if you want to buy it or not.

Health and Fitness Bulu Box Review and Promo Code

I am a very big fan of Bulu Box, and I have been so pleased with the products that I receive in each of my boxes, however, this month I must say, unfortunately, that I feel a little bummed about my box. I have seen some other boxes with some great stuff, including everything that I received in mine. I just have to wonder how Bulu picks boxes for people. Do not get me wrong, I still would say this is a great box to subscribe to, as I have had this box for 4 months now, and not until this box have I been a little disappointed.

Kona Kase is A Keeper and Special Deal

I  have always liked to try new kinds of energy bars or health food. This doesn’t mean they taste great all the time,  but it is good to change things up once in awhile. If you too, are looking for some new energy bars, energy food, or just healthy snacks, well Kona Kase is a perfect.

ZING Chocolate Cocunut and Cashew Cranberry Orange

I have heard good things about the Zing bars before, but I had never tried them. I really like the coconut, so I gave the Chocolate Coconut one a try first , and it was just delicious. I have yet to try the Cashew Cranberry Orange, but if it was anything like its counterpart, I am sure it is tasty.

Rickland Orchard Greek Yogurt Bar

Greek yogurt seems to be the craze lately. And while I am not the biggest fan of any sort of yogurt, I thought I would give this bar a try since it was mixed with  Blueberry and Acai.  Since trying this bar I have been trying to find some at my local grocery store, as these bars were fantastic.   A great bar for a quick grab and go!

Power Bar Performance Energy Blend

This is like apple sauce/ baby food. While I understand it was made to give energy, and was made with real fruit, I could not get over the texture. Like I said, it was like baby food and so was the texture. I could taste all the fruit flavors though, and I think this would be great for a runner.

Trachealth Chia and Coconut

This Trachealth CHIA portable drink mix packet sounds great.  But what exactly is Chia Seeds I wondered?

Journey Bar Savory Sea Salt

I must admit,  I was not the biggest fan of this bar. I just did not like the salty taste, when the texture seemed like it should be sweet.  The good thing about this bar, however, it that it is low in sugar, so no sugar rush included!

Picky Bars

These bars are gluten free and dairy free energy bars.  I got to try the All In Almond Bar, and it was very good.  It was made out of Almond Butter and sweetened with Agave.  Almond butter is one of my favorites, so this was gone from my box quickly for a on the go lunch.

Soy Joy Strawberry Bar

I have tried these before after a run I did a couple months back, and they are very tasty.  The bars are also great on the waist line at only 130-140 calories.  It reminds me of a healthier Strawberry fig newton.

And last my FAVORITE

Barbara Llewellyn Brown Sugar Rosemary Cashews

I immediately started snacking on these right out of the box. These were the best part of the whole box.  And yes, they are very addicting.  I really can appreciate the mix of flavors in this cashew creation, it was great on the taste buds. I highly recommend them!

What I like most about Kona Kase,  not only that it was packed with the yummy Barbara Llewellen Cashews, but that they give so many options for so many different taste buds and varieties of diets.  I think that this box is so great because it caters to so many varieties of people as well.

Tip Top Tidbit Tuesday (a little late) Health and Fitness Bulu Box

My Tip Top Tidbit Tuesday was supposed to have posted last night, but there was some error on my part my not pushing publish. However, I still wanted to share with you my Tip Top Tidbits, however they will just have to be on this beautiful Wednesday, rather than Tuesday. 

I have been trying to give a little variety to my Tip Top Tidbit Tuesday,  however, there is just so much I want to share and not enough time to share it or blog it. I  am definetly looking for something that is quick, nourishes me, yet does not make me gain weight, but helps promote weight loss. I  am excited to give this a try.

At first taste I was not sure about this bar, but I did not judge right away. The taste kinda grows on you, and it really is quite good for a gluten free snack. What I like most about this bar is that it is made out of all natural ingredients, is only 200 calories, so it is perfect for a before workout snack.

ONNIT Shroon Tech Spot

These are a calorie burning energy supplement that helps give energy for working out, without the jitters or the crash.  I tend to be very tired after a long day at work, and the last thing that I have energy for is working out, so I love to try out new natural energy supplements., that can help. I cannot wait to try these out.

Last, I appreciate that Bulu also provides great reading material. This information is not only in the box, but also on the website. This month the pamphlet in the box was 5 tips for Weight Loss.  What I appreciate most about reading articles like that, is that, although I might know some of the information already, reading it again motivates me to actually take action  on what I have read. My goal from reading this  article is to start working out in the morning.  I will let you know how that progresses.

A Look at Kona Kase

I was very interested in Kona Kase when I first heard of it. And why you ask? Because it gives people an opportunity to try out different snacks and nutritional samples that  help a body's endurance, stamina, energy, and more during and after physical activities.  If you read my blog here and there you know I am trying to become more physically in shape. In the Kona Kase I received the following flavors, all of which were yummy!

1) SeriousMilk “CLASSIC” Milk Chocolate with caramel notes (my favorite);;

SUNCUPS

This is not your normal peanut buttercup or in this case Carmel Cup. These got devoured right out of the box.  What is great about these are that they are Nut-free and Gluten-Free. Suncups also are produced only from cacao from Rainforest Alliance Certified farms. I am all about Rainforest protection.  They say Suncups is a great post-activity treat, but I think it is good any time J

CLIF SHOT BLOKS

I am a big fan of anything gummy, and this tasted just like a gummy bear. The Clif Shot Bloks are way better on the taste buds than downing a RedBull.  I received Cran-Fraz, and they were deliciously gummy. After just  one shot blok, it had already given me a good kick of energy.

CLIF BAR

I have tried all types of Clif Bars, but this one just brings me back. to when I was young. I would go to summer camp when I was younger, and all we would eat was granola bars.  This Clif Bar Granola Bar was natural tasting with just the right crunch that you look for in any granola bar.  Delish! This is a great snack on the way home,  right before a good workout, but not too much to stuff you full! I give this Clif Bar an A+.

EARNEST  EATS

This bar was like picking some berries, taking a handful of nuts and seeds and smothering it all together, in the best tasting way possible. The Dark Choco Mint was very good. This earnest eats bar is also wheat-free and vegan. What is also very interested about the Earnest Eats baked whole food bar is that in this particular bar the mint was grown by refugees (Rescue.org), up to $5,000 supports the International Rescue Committee, leading the refugees away from harm.

PERFECT FOODS BAR

At only 100 calories per bar and made out of Almond butter, this was my other favorite from the Kona Kase.  If you like cookie dough, like I do, you will love the consistency of this bar. I can see why Runner’s World Magazine named this bar among their list of “Top 10 Best Recovery Bars for Runners”.   A very good addition to the Kona Kase!

BRUBAR

I must say I was not sure how much I was interested in tasting this one. The BRUBAR is made with Barley Malt, which is the key ingredient in many beers.  However, after reading the ingredients more in depth,  the Original Malt BRUBAR does not sound all that bad at all.  Other ingredients include: rolled oats, almonds, coconuts, vanilla and cinnamon. Sounds like an oatmeal breakfast all in one bar to me.
